Guild Wars 2

I actually figured out part of my problem earlier today. My graphics card was showing PCI-e 2.0 x16 @x1 2.0 in GPU-z and then when I looked in CCC I noticed that the limit was PCI-e 2.0 x1. So I re-seated the card and was back up to my previous frame rate before the patch. I’m not saying this is everyone’s problem it was mine.

Yeah a couple of the guys in my guild are having the same problem. I’m just glad its not me but I hope they figure out whatever they did wrong and fix it.

So the game is more cpu based than gpu? If that’s the case would I see better performance upgrading from a Phenom II X4 945 at 3.0 ghz?

I haven’t got stuck but the patched cause my FPS to drop from 50 – 60 FPS to around 15 – 30 FPS. I looked at the settings and nothing has changed. Something is definitely wrong here.

Has anyone notice an FPS drop since the update this afternoon? I was running about 50-60 FPS before the update and now I’m get between 15-30. I went and looked at my settings and nothing has changed since I first altered all the settings according to the thread about FPS problems. Any information on this would be great.
