Yeah I’d really like to be able to swap skins from an outfit that I purchased for individual armor pieces without having to spend a transmutation. I won’t hold my breath though because something tells me that this model works economically for Anet.

I agree with the post above, you already own the game so start it up and see if you like the game changes that have been implemented during your absence.

We definitely needs this UI scrapped as it is anything but good. Or at least give us an “advanced” version to allow us to do custom exchanges for gold to gems and revert to the old way of allowing us to convert any amount of gems to gold. Generally after making a purchase of gems from a pre-paid card I’ll convert the few left over gems to gold, with the new UI this functionality is completely gone unless I have the exact amount specified, and then I’ll still have a few left over gems. I cannot overstate my dislike of this new currency exchange.
