Have you changed your display settings recently?
On windows 8 right click on desktop -> choose “Screen resolution” and remove all other displays except the main.

To do this click on a display and from the Multiple displays drop-down box select “Show desktop only on 1” and press “Apply”. Then click on all displays except the main one and from the Multiple displays drop-down box select “Remove this display” and press “Apply”.

This helped me once, maybe it helps you too.
