Same issue. Have turned in Service requests. Booted the link to Google Chrome browser to check the DB. Turns out that info (which is supposed to work) is scrambled also. I think they have a big problem on their hands.
Gem Store doesn’t work. Title bar appears but unable to access any items. Nothing shows up. Just a spinning circle in the middle of a blank field. Have rebooted many times. Have tried for several days on different toons.
Other areas of the Trading Post seem to work.
Approx 90% of the time WvW crashes GW2 completely (sent to the desktop) while fighting Lords, Zergs, or any reward giving event. Even though I was alive at the time I’m returned to LA and dead on the tarmac after logging back in. My WvW connection is gone and I don’t receive any rewards or loot. This is getting pretty frustrating to say the least. I’m running Mac Beta Client; OS X (8.5); 20 gig RAM; 3.2 GHz t7 processor with 12 TB of storage only 1/2 full. I’ve minimized all the graphic settings thinking this might be the cause even though my graphics card has 4 GIG’s of RAM. Please advise. And don’t ask me to reinstall the game. Did that last week on your advise which took a total of 8 hours.
Thank you for your prompt attention. I’ve chatted with others in my WvW group and they have similar experiences. They are NOT running Mac Beta but some Windows version of the game.
Same issue on Mac. Running 10.8.4. Tried several times using different cards. Submitted Support ticket. Response was to download and install a Windoz application. We know that isn’t going to work…. lol
Hope they can figure this out. Seems to be a major issue for Mac users being unable to spend money in the game.
