Guild Wars 2

I went through all Living World stuff with my main character. I have no intention of doing that for my other characters. So I discovered that if I played the first and last episode of Season 2 that annoying reminder at the top of the page disappeared and turned itself back into the helpful compass for finding new events etc.
Today I signed in and read the message from Makkay. I went to LA and saw the video and BAM that bloody stupid episode reminder for Living world is back. I don’t want to play the final episode again, too frikkin time consuming. I want to turn LW OFF!!! I worked so hard to get rid of it and now my character that does the dailies hasn’t got her compass. This severely sucks. I only want to play LW with my MAIN character. I don’t want the other 12 to go through it.

Does it not disappear if you set it to “Disable Personal Story” in options?

Personal Story with disappear, but then it just pops back on to LWS2, I need to Disable that.

Hi,
I have played my main character through her personal story and through all the Living World episodes. Now I like the fact that when I’m running around looking for events, the little compass at the top right shows me where the new events are.

I have other characters Norn, Charr, Asuara, and Sylvari. I don’t really want to play through their personal stories, but I suppose I will have to. However I definitely do NOT want to have to play through the Living World seasons with these characters. I want to turn off LWS2. Is there still no way to do this? I would rather have the compass show me where new events are right now.

Wow I haven’t got one run yet. How do you do it? I’ve left my character standing there for ages and it just never opens up. What am I doing wrong?

Only 10 hours to go on the wings and I still can’t buy gems. Tried CC and Paypal and turning off my computer and nothing is working. It started last night and I’m still locked out. I usually buy a lot of gems once a month and never had this problem. HELP, I need those wings for my necro, I’ll be very disappointed if this doesn’t work.

I know this is going to sound really stupid, but I just can’t figure out how to get the achievements. How do I do it? Yes all the achievements are unlocked in my story journal. I went to the beginning of Gates of Maguuma where the first instance was and there’s nothing there. I read everything I could find on the net about it and it said to look for purple circles on the map. I don’t see any. I’ve stood around and waited at the spots where the instance green stars used to be and nothing happens. I am so frustrated, I’ve been spending hours asking people what’s up in game, but no one ever answers me. So I’m trying here, maybe someone can give me a detailed answer as to what is happening here.

Well for one I don’t care for Taimi, she is a smart kitten know it all and I really hate the way she talks down to the adults. Obviously Rox is smitten with Braham and the mothering thing is getting a bit old. Kas and Jory, great, saw that coming a mile away. However, do they have to talk soooooo much. Gad their conversations go on forever. “I want to help”, "i don’t need help, yes you do, no I don’t and on and on. Having said that I LOVE GW2!!!
