You can’t. The whole event is designed for Americans only. By making it a one off, one time event at a time that suits America, means that it is too bad for those of us that aren’t in America and usually asleep at that time.

Don’t worry too much though, it’s been a failure so far riddled with bugs. They would be better off swallowing some pride, cancelling it, fixing it, then relaunching it next week – and perhaps make it possible for the rest of the world to partake too.

Wouldn’t it be 2 AM somebody’s time no matter what time they chose? Not really logical there.

Neither was starting the event at noon on a Friday, since normal people have real world obligations. But in any case, I never claimed to be Spock :-p

Additional things I would change about this experience:
- My other party members did not get event completion medals for certain fights, even when I did and they were standing next to me participating.
- When you leave an area or travel to a new area, other party members end up in separate overflow servers from you. This is tremendously inconvenient when trying to participate as a group.

P.S. it is daytime in Japan, not nighttime. At this rate, we’ll miss even more than stateside players :[

As other players have said, “This really should’ve been an instance.” Yes, breaking it up into instances would have solved a lot of the overflow/lag problems. Hoping this gets fixed soon. I have a lot of respect for ArenaNet and would hate to see this event become a tarnished spot on their otherwise awesome reputation.
