You do realize that your wallet and bank are copied for the beta, right?

While your beta characters may accumulate items/currency, their wallet and bank are still separate from your permanent characters’ bank and wallet.

To simplify….
If you earn 100g on your beta toon and you swap to a permanent toon, that 100g will not be there.

The same goes for transmutation charges, dungeon tokens, inventory items, etc.

Nothing you earn on a beta character can be used by your permanent characters in any way shape or form.

But you can use the charges.. on your other toons.. I hope Anet fixes this. new beta build.

1st time posting here… So i made a druid, on the beta and decided if i could see the rest of (old tyria) If you make a beta toon and go to ANY and ALL of the starting race cities you get a free map complete chest that gives u a free transmutation charge, if you click on it, it stays on your account. even after you delete your beta toon. I hope Anet fixes this!

So Im new to the game, Loving it so far! but one thing that’s really bothering me is world bosses! my fps drops so low! I kinda know nothing about computers but im willing to take it to a computer shop this week to get an update i just need to know what to get updated, and i don’t wanna get ripped off and have the sales people sell me things i dont need.. here are my computers specs.

I got this computer last christmas 12/24/2013 so its fairly new,
(only paid $379canadian dollars)
normally i get around 34 fps in all zones but boss fights it will drop to 7, when im in towns and citys with alot of people i get about 15 fps… my graphics are all high.. but shadows and reflections.. what can i do to make this into a beast machine? im the only one in my apartment that uses the internet it does have a password and such my internet speed is 50mb download 25mb upload..and capping at 350gbs a month, and my internet box is plugged into my desktop

ps , everything is up to date any input would help!

Hi im new to the game. and been playing for a week, and i have this strange issue today! I cant speak in partys or /yell? and when i try and whisper people it says this player is offline when there are clearly online and moving around? i dont understand why i cant say anything in any channels of the game please help.

Any server will do unless you want to be competitive (WvW), in which case the server you chose is very important (some are zergy, others ghost towns).

The server you chose does not matter for PvE for the most part, due to guesting.

Race:
Asura supremacy! But Charr are awesome too. Please, no more Humans or Norns, they game is heavily overpopulated with them as it is. xD

Class:
Well… the character creation screen gives you a pretty big primer on it, but good starting classes are the heavies (Warrior & Guardian).

Every class can be melee or ranged and there is no Holy Trinity.

The charr look amazing and the asura are so cute!? i need to read up on the lore on them the slyvari look amazing! also

Hello! just bought the game it was on sale! and thought sure why not!? for 24.99! what a steal! i’ve heard lots of really great things about this game, and I LOVE THE ARTWORK! the whole paintbrush style! as the game downloads… I need to decide….. which server/class/race to pick! Please tell me your thoughts?
