My necromancer. Digital painting with Wacom tablet and Photoshop. Uses some character textures (her face, the minion).
I’ve been levelling (to level 75) with this:

I’m not much of a theorycrafter, but it seems to provide good survivability and things go down pretty fast. It was based on this guide, but altered due to the fact that I don’t do much WvW/sPvP: http://www.guildwarsinsider.com/forum/ranger/tank%27s-%28guide%29-ranger-longbow-shortbow-signet-build-%2895-done%29/
Hope that helps a bit.
I would love home server forums – it would be great to start to build community spirit and solidarity.
I don’t mind a guild advert in another language than English, as long as it’s not spammed. But filling map chat with a language that most players won’t understand is rude and exclusionary. Everyone in this thread speaks perfectly understandable English – why wouldn’t you want to communicate with others in a language that everyone can speak?
In real life terms, it would be like a social gathering where everyone is talking, and two people are speaking a foreign language to each other and dominating the conversation. They would be considered rude or inconsiderate to others and eventually someone would point out their bad manners. It’s the same on a game server.
I posted on another of these threads because I was so irritated after playing tonight and having nothing but constant goldspam filling up the chat window. I don’t turn off general chat because sometimes people ask questions and need help, or so on. I don’t think these accounts are getting banned even though multiple people must be reporting them. Extremely unpleasant and I wish that ANet would do something about them!
Within the last day or so the goldseller spam has gone absolutely mental. I’ve been reporting them, but nothing seems to happen. Extremely unpleasant and irritating as I don’t want to turn map chat off. Tons of spam messages as well.
