Thanks for the help, I just changed to GS and rifle for now, might change it later. I also noticed my dps went up quiet a bit, suddenly a skill challenge I had some issues with was a no brainer.

I run the lvl 10 trait in the fifth line that gives +25% speed to all melee weapon wields, so swiftness loses its relevance. The additional speed you get from Greatswords 3 and 5, and Bull’s Charge is way more significant than the paltry +8% you get by adding Swiftness, which isn’t even on a 100% uptime unless you buff boon duration.

Setup Mace/Mace (Control, Defensive)+Greatsword (Pure damage, Mobility).

Never needed range for anything. Even the bosses in the Marionette you’re ‘supposed’ to range I just happily meleed away without any trouble, when 11 levels undergeared.

Interesting, how are you traited for this setup?

Is there a way to gain the movement buff without warhorn later on?

Hey, new to the game, and been running axe/warhorn from lv 5-15 and find it pretty fun. Nice mobility with charge, feels a little “lighter” than the big kitten sword builds.

Is this a viable solo build for the PvE part of the game? Or do I have to go GS?

Any tips for traits/skills for this? Not really sure what to spec for.

The only rewards you missed out on were achievement points and like 3 backpieces that all look bad.

What’s the big idea of adding temporary achievements? That’s such a lousy thing to do.

They should nullify achievements points when the LS is over, as it’s pretty kittened to deny newer players a chance to catch up.

Pretty disappointed, bought the game a week ago and still can’t play more than a couple of minutes before getting kicked.

I agree with OP. Started a week ago and it’s pretty demotivating knowing that I won’t be able to experience the content. Why not just add all the content on a permanent basis at least? Talk about making a game stressful for new players.

I take it this issue is just ignored by the devs then? Never mind 6-7 countries (at least) not being able to play the game for more than 5 minutes straight, right Anet?

It’s like the longer I’m logged in, the higher the ping gets, until nothing responds at all.

I’m getting this every minute. It kills any fun I’m trying to have playing this game.

Tried the connect test and everything was fine, still getting it. Trying the repair thing now, and if that doesn’t fix it I’m uninstalling. Too bad as I really want to play this game
