My characters abilities freeze up and they just keep flashing. I can see everything else happening in real time and I can even move my character I just cant use abilities please help.

I was trying to get a vista and I was almost there then randomly my character died. I said whatever and tried again but the same thing happened at a different spot. I was wondering if this happens to other people or if its just me.
