This is not a bug. This is a random drop from the daily rewards. The vials also have a chance to randomly drop from every creature in the zones.

So as Azelroth suggested.. Loot everything!

Do you realise how insanely idiotic it is to make a piece of gear a requirement to progress and then make it RANDOM?

Even Blizzard in all their years of gear treadmilling have never stooped this low.
In one patch we’ve gone from logical progression and steady rewards for our work to RNG based content gating!

I am disgusted with this, and ashamed that I have contributed money towards your paycheck.

Well let’s see. I person with the back and ring is taking agony ticks for 150, I’m taking them for 1.3k and it almost kills me on some fights like Jade Maw 14.
Any further and it likely will kill me. So yes, I very obviously do need it.

Well, you can dodge it. Even in Jade Maw, it is pretty hard but is dodgeable, so in that sense doesn’t matter the gear you have. And if you are already in level 14, what’s the problem? Eventually you will get your ring, is not like it has a 0,001% chance to drop, I am still in level 11 and didn’t get it, but 3 members of our party got it.

In the other hand, they confirmed that in future patches, the ascended gear could be acquired in other ways, like WvW.

Reddit has a nice community in general because people goes there to look for info and that kind of things.

People that comes here is just for the sake of complaining, so it seems like everybody is quiting when it is just a VERY vocal minority.

Please, stop the selfishness, I couldn’t make it to the Hallowen event and can’t make it to the Sunday one, but I’m not going to cry about it, because I appreciate so much the effort put to make Tyria a living world, and I think it is the most amazing feature this game has and hope to be able to attend next events.

Right now I will watch it in youtube, it is obviously not the same, but the world doesn’t work around every single one of us, and the fairest solution is to make the events when most people is playing the game.

Yeah, because League of Legends launched with a ranking system and a spectator mode and… Oh wait!
