i think they should create new conditions specifically for the necro to give him an identity i take the idea from the dark souls games: toxic stronger version of poison faster and stronger dot damage with added heal ability reduced to 50% on enemies. curse reduces enemy max health by 20% and all conditions applied during that curse deal 5% more damage and damage dealt returns as 70% hp to caster. festering wounds inflicted bleeds deal 5% damage based on max hp every 5 stacks. these are some ideas that popped on my head that could increase damage to help a party and your survivability.
i honestly in all my target classes im going to use all summon builds minion master turrets conjure weapons spirit weapons and spirits on ranger and i dont care about what people say because im going to do what i like and i will make it work. Anet should make it possible for me to do that in an easyer manner. (yes its hard do balance all the platforms all the builds all the weapons and stuff but please bring true diversity to the table in any means possible stop backing up the meta builds.)
indeed dark mezmer in general there isnta any diversity in builds because generally people choose the meta builds that EVERYONE uses and stick with it i ve been in guilds that tell me bah necro sux dont use him with us in dungeons bah necro doesnt do any damage minion master?! pff please sincerely i ignore all those comments but i really want Anet to balance all the traits and weapons to make it possible for a player to do what he wants. and movement wise since the recent teleport nerf my mobility as a minionmaster has been VASTLY reduced indeed. didnt understand why since u couldnt teleport to all surfaces even in jumping puzzles. certain rules would have to be met for that to happen…
I just love playing necro minionmaster because having a “squad” of undead is great and kitten but one thing i think should change is the minion appearance because you start at lvl 1 to 80 with the same minions it would be great if they progressed as you advance like Spiritmaster on aion he summons elemental spirits that evolve 5 times depending on the tier of the summoning skill ill post a link to youtube so u guys can check it out.
I would really like something like that so if arenanet can do it i would be thrilled! Maybe upgrade the flesh golem to an abomination the shadow fiend to an Aatxe and so on that way u will be using existing monsters just to upgrade the skills visually!
(ps im not advertising just showing an example)

i feel the same about necro minions despite this not being the necro discussion thread u start from lvl 1 to 80 with the SAME MINIONS EVERY TIME they dont change they should “upgrade” visually as you progress…
indeed the bombs are quite lame they can be useful sometimes but could use a change and my idea for the engie turrets would be to make them or multi-race like someone said before OR focused on a race individually like if they are charr focused give them a little boost to visuals bam done for charr asura i dont even need to say golem-like turrets!
Human style version plant turrets and on norn! TURRETS WITH THE SPIRITS ON THE DESIGN “raven rifle turret” “Sleopard flame turret” and stuff like that!
Dude im gonna test this and if it is as i think it will be it will work and i ve seen 50% of people say it sucks as well as it is good so im gonna test it if it doesnt work heck ill change. but the toping isnt that. the topic is if anyone found out what is the living version of flesh golem nothing else.
Im currently building a necro Minion master / condi build and i ve noticed something,
all minions have a living counterpart and so i ve set off trying to find their living versions so i ve discovered all but one: the flesh golem
Bone minions- Skritt
Blood fiend – Wind rider
Bone fiend – Devourer
Shadow Fiend – Shade
Flesh wurm – Wurm
Flesh golem- ???? ( the one creature i ve seen that is closest to the flesh golem is the destroyer troll but should be another species of the destroyer a horned one but other trolls dont look anywhere close to it lol)
I ve searched for it googled it never found anything about it if someone knows anything about it please reply i wanna find that out XD
