That makes sense, however the story behind it is that it’s to help rebuild the city of Lions Arch and the citizens in it. If they are able to have a big Wintersday party, would they really need aid?

The Captain council commendation is not related to the Mad King.

I can’t post it in the lost shores sub-forum so I hope this is the right place to do it.

Will the care package and the Captain’s council commendations stay ingame after the Wintersday patch or will these be removed?

Mine didn’t reset either, I thought this was because the release was shorty before the end of the month. But if some people did get reset it must be a bug. I am very into doing my daily and monthly achievements so I’d like a chance to still be able to do my monthly!

If I recall correctly the books tooltip actually says that it will reset your skillpoints.
