the successful logins are me

i wonder why random people from around the world are trying to access my email account and failing. it goes back like this for a bit but never a successful attempt. Also i did a system scan and I don’t have a virus, trojan, or any malware on my system. how very strange
would it be possible to region lock my account to the united states?

before i lost access a few months ago i got this email:

A log-in attempt from the following location is currently awaiting your authorization.

Address: 123.169.95.248
City: Jinan
Region: 25
Country: CN

This location is approximated based on information provided by your Internet Service Provider. If in doubt, deny the request and try again.

my password has since been changed twice and my account was never successfully logged into i don’t think because of the authenticator though but oddly my password was changed which required me to have to go through the process of retrieval.

i am getting password reset requests that i have not asked for sent to my email.
this is what happened last time i lost access to my account though because of the authenticator on my account i don’t think anyone got access to it.

other than obviously not resettting my password or using the requests in case they are somehow a phishing attempt is there a way to tell of they are authentic password reset requests and is there a way to stop random people from requesting password changes to my account?

Recovering CD Key for retail game-copies after loss?

Now that I have your attention I would like to ask if there is a way for people who bought a retail copy from a 3rd party say Best Buy or Wal-Mart to recover the cd key used when registering an account? I asked as part of my ticket if they would send it to me and was told it can only be given out if a digital copy was sold online. How does this translate if you bought the basic game from a retailer and bought the digital deluxe edition through the in game store? If there is no way to ever recover a cd key that has been lost when buying from a retailer then shouldn’t we consider removing the cd key requirement for resetting a password? Obviously short of tattooing the code on your body many/most people at some point in the future will lose their key so what can be done at that point?
