Hi,

The Stay Cool achievement from the Twilight Arbor Aether Path remains bugged.

Please fix, this has been an ongoing issue for years. And also, kindly add a buff indicating if we are eligible for this achievement as to clear confusion.

Guardian Shield Skill Rework

Who uses a shield as a guard anyway?
I’m a guard myself but i rarely use shields or see other guards using a shield because of the insane cooldown and its out-of-nowhere use, unless you’re utilizing the bonus armor and going all pew pew with your skill 1.

Shield of Judgement – 1/2 casting time, 30 cooldown
The protection is actually better than the “Hold the Line!” Shout but requires your ally to be directly in front of you in order to be hit by the cone wave. This makes the skill inefficient because this would only synergize with the scepter or in PVP when you are approaching in-combat allies and giving them the boon.

Shield of Absorption – 1 1/2 casting time, 40 cooldown
Creates a dome around you that pushes foes back and absorbs projectiles making you still for the whole duration! Now you have to go near to interrupt foes for what ever good reason this would do aside from preventing a stomp in PVP.

Other Guard Skill Comparison
The 30/40 cooldown is a big difference when compared to other off-hand weapons

Warrior Shield Skill Comparison
An interrupt skill (Shield Bash) for only 25 cooldown and a whooping 3 second block!
Why don’t guards have duration blocks and warriors have? We are the guardians not them!

Engineer Shield Skill Comparison
The Magnetic Shield is similar to Shield of Absorption but with only 30 second cooldown. A stun and a 2 second block with Static Shield.
Again, a duration block and not just one time.

Seriously, the guard shield skills feel like it has no certain objective and obviously left out when compared to other professions.I would rather use Focus for sustain and support.

Loot Depreciation and/or Tagging Bug ?

Hey there, thanks for answering.

1. So it would seem Loot Depreciation is intended for Mad King’s Labyrinth but we need someone official to confirm this else, it would be a bug.

2. May not be a possible bug but needs improvement. I could get orange champ boxes from the 3 Champion Husks in the pre Jungle Worm Event without any party. So well, tagging really needs to be reviewed for this game.

Hi, I’m a guardian running a full ascended celestial build but i seem to be running a bit of a problem lately. At first i thought that I’m not doing enough damage on my own and tried these solutions:

1. Joining a Full Party
2. Adding Bane Signet (+180 Power at lvl 80) + Superior Sigil of Bloodlust at 25 Stacks
3. Adding Food, Utility and other Boons to my build

Unfortunately, i still encounter the problem of Loot Depreciation and/or Tagging Bug

Possible Loot Depreciation (?)
1. After about 30 minutes in the Mad King’s Labyrinth my loot bag count begins to drop. I notice it especially during “Eliminate Foes” mob event where i usually get more than >20 drops. But after 30 minutes it becomes extremely evident that my drops becomes <10 during those mob events (even scattered minions began to rarely drop anything).

Possible Tagging Bug (?)
2. Hitting champs from 100% to 0% health and sometimes i don’t get loot. Applies to outside world events and not just Mad King’s Labyrinth.

Clearly, this has nothing to do with damage. One thing noticeable about my action is i spam the AOE Loot key during mob killing

My Base Magic Find is 204.

Please help, reduced loot drop is killing the fun

Movement Speed Utility Infusion

We all know that not every profession have utility skills to increase movement speed. To do so, you either have to buy runes or continually spam haste skills to travel the vast world of Tyria.

But not all players are willing to sacrifice combat-helpful attributes over slight-movement speed bonuses.

Hence, this topic is hoping for the devs to create a Movement Speed Utility Infusion to give players added options for their build.

The problem started when i transferred to a VERY HIGH population world, back when i was in a HIGH population things went smoothly without bugs and lags.

Hi,

I’m having this error message prompt every time i play the game. the game runs fine though but it’s either i can only see myself in the guild panel or everyone’s location is set to unknown.

Please help
