Hello everyone!
My friends and I have been long time GW2 players, and long time theatrical actors and designers for a good bit beyond that. Well, we were bored this past fall and were looking for something to do since our respective jobs were a bit slow. After some discussion, someone blurted out how cool it would be if there were a machinima version of the full, uncut text of William Shakspeare’s Hamlet—both as an educational tool to hear Shakespearian language out loud and as a cool entertainment thing. I mean, who doesn’t love a good ghost story of betrayal and revenge now and again?
So, seven months, three dozen favors from some professional and student actors, and hundreds of headaches later, we’ve finished putting together the whole five hour play, and we’re releasing it one scene at a time (since we’re aware people can only take so much Shakespeare in one sitting!).
