It doesn’t I tried scooting back with the longbow more and it won’t reach further than its 1,500 range (at least when I tried it)

I noticed in the PvP area The Mists messing around with golems something interesting. I was comparing damage of the Ranger’s shortbow compared to longbow on how long it takes to kill something and I saw something that caught my eye. I use the Marksmenship trait X to increase longbow range to 1,500 however the shortbow despite having a range of 1,200 still likes to be able to hit targets at a range of 1,500 just like my traited longbow does. I tried changing my height level to the golems and that didn’t seem to matter. The shortbow has a range of 300 more than it actually should every skill but the number 2 skill on the shortbow connected with the golem I’ve been attacking.

The damage is always worth it!
