Guild Wars 2

IDK about PvP side, I only really PvE in this game, but the new spec seems like trash, doesn’t even bring any good utility, to the mix. There are some cool things secondary moves, but they bring back the supporting feel. Of the golems I get to hit im only able to get my meters to peak around 4900. With axe/mace no elite spec i can reach 10000 easy. So I don’t know where people are saying this is a viable trade. I do specifically remember the design guy say in the video of the hype release say, “The Dragon stance was a supporting move, and we worked this new Renegade stance into being a more damage dealing focus than a support role.” I cant wait to seee someone bring to light the true potential, and Im sure there is a bunch of balancing needing to be done. So ill be patient.

so if he makes his server a lesser pop, he can pay to get transferred to a Full server? idc if it cost i just trying to make sure i got all the options down. and we will be looking into WvW so its important, maybe not right this moment

I have gotten 3 people that want to join the game with me but they cant due to server being full. Im currently on sea of sorrow. I have done some searches and i see a lot of old post saying just wait till late at night off peak hours. I have never seen the population dip. So what can I do to get them on my server? If nothing, how does the transfer work? ZCan i do it for all my toons? etc insert basic info.

I gave a try and fractals and WvW and came up with some new inquires.

1. What is my overall objective in Fractals, I mean finish the mission I’m on got it, but what is the pay out for doing them more and more?
2. Agony system. I came from WoW so I feel like Agony is a type of resilience to fractal mobs, and will be needed later. I go off builds on some sgw2 sites, will I need a separate set of gear for just running fractals?
3. How do you know which fractals are too much of a challenge or do I just go in and try my best hoping not to fail? Basically at what point am I wasting my groups time with my presence? I don’t want people to feel they are carrying me.
4. So no tanks or designated healers, is this a myth?

WvW
1. WTF did i get myself into?
2. I saw this little girl run from my friend, she had her back turned the whole time. He died instantly. Is this a common thing in WvW?
3. Like in #2 for fractals, do I need a separate set of armor for WvW?
4. Ways to progressively get EXP? Seems slow, hard to find fights that we could win.
5. Build like glass, watch people shatter you. Build like a tank, watch them, run while they shatter you. Whats the best way to gear for this? Is there a PvP stat I should know about?

Other:
1. How can I inspect people, I love to know what they are wearing or using, mostly everything I have seen looks amazing.
2. Should I join multiple guilds? does it benefit to have a WvW guild, raiding guild, social guild, etc?
3. I attempted a meta event with the 3 worms, I dont think a single worm got below 95%, are these doable for a random that just shows up, or should i wait to find a guild that does it?

Alright, if exotics are the yellow i already got that done, and according the guild i was in I am in best in slot stats. Now, you say boss farm, where are those? WvW idk what this is. Fractals…what? dungeons, ok something i get but how do i group for them? PvP prolly never anytime soon for I have no clue who class does what. Thanks for the response

Ok coming back from a break i took because i really had no clue what i was doing. I want to get into the game but i have no idea what i’m doing. I have looked through google youtube and all i find is “this is what I do”
I am looking for what i’m “suppose” to be doing. Like in WoW you hit level cap, you run reg dungeons, then heroics, then raids/harder dungeons. What is the process for this game, whats the first important things i am suppose to be doing when i hit 80 or 70 even since i think an expansion has been out? And is there a step-by-step tutorial for endgame content. I have done all the stories, and I have started on another but I feel so weak against the mobs that I feel there is so much I have missed out on.

1. Right now im the only one of 5 that bought the game, and friends are all of different servers. Will this be problematic down the road?
2. I keep seeing red, blue, and purple upside down arrow heads, when i hover over them itll say “commander” when i go to them i think its a player. Is this important during leveling?
3. OMG so many currencies, trophies, resources. What’s important? what’s vendor worth? what do I hold on? How should I spend resources smartly?
4. PvP – I dont know if i want to even touch this yet. Played a few games at level 21+, everything i did, blocked, immune, evaded, I get evaded but I cant land anything, and get 3 shot. Should I just avoid this for now?
5. Right now I’m 22ish do i look for dungeons?
6. As i hit submit, prolly should go with #1 can i join a friend’s instance if so how?
