WvW Supply Caravan Suggestion

If you give any kind of rewards, it will attract bots.

At the release of Guild Wars 2, There were hundreds of bots that uselessly guard yaks for free money and exp. They take up queue.

Bots have no interest in WXP, they can’t sell that. OP’s suggestion offers no other rewards besides WXP.

I think as long as it just gave WXP it might be okay. Though an idea to add onto that would be that you could make get some gold + karma at the end based on the amount of enemy players you killed within the Dolyak’s range. The more people you killed, the better the reward. And honestly if bots found out a way to beat players in a duel like that….then well…I don’t know.

WvW: how to make ruins-capping rewarding

Personally I don’t really like the Borderlands Bloodlust thing at all, but I do think some reward (even small) is definitely better than no reward. Though I’d rather see rewards for escorting Dolyaks come back first. It’s a pretty important task, but nobody wants to do it because there’s no reward. I mean I guess there’s an achievement for it, but let’s be real…the amount of times you need to do it is a bit absurd for no reward and a couple Achievement Points.

Make dyes account bound

If dyes were account bound, they would all be worth nothing really. Keeping them character bound allows them to hold value.

Please change Asura's camera angles.

I love everything about playing an Asura except for this. It feels like such a disadvantage compared to other classes. Since our face is closer to the ground, we see things from a much lower angle, but this makes for some annoying situations during the game.

Being an avid WvW player, the first 2 things that come to mind is that it is much more difficult to fight people up on walls, or even destroy siege on walls for that matter. Arrow cart angles can be trickier to nail down as well. Also, in large scale fights it’s much harder to tell what is going on, because if you have your camera in more of a first person angle…you just won’t see anything at all. And if you try a more top-down angle, it’s an unfair advantage compared to other races. You could take a max size Asura…and compare it to a minimum size Human/Sylvari, and regardless of them being very, very close to the same height, the Human and Sylvari have a much angles with their camera, especially top-down.

Liadri’s fight was also rather frustrating to do on my Asura, mostly thanks to the fact the camera was kitten even more due the dome design of the arena.

Though as a side note, if Arena Net ever added in a race change option, this post wouldn’t even exist and I’d just go do that. But I have way too much time and effort put into my character to just scrap it.

For the longest time since I’ve had the game, I’ve had a bug to where I don’t hear my own character’s sounds. But in a recent patch, (I think it was the Queen’s Jubilee one) it seemed like it finally just fixed it self.

It might sound lame but I was pretty excited just to hear my Warrior shout “FOR GREAT JUSTICE!”.

EDIT: To clarify , this bug applies anything that has voice acting, not just shouts. I still hear sounds like the clunkiness of my heavy armor when I jump up and down. I still hear the sound of my weapon smacking against things, explosions, and the like. I also can still hear the voices of OTHER people’s characters. It’s strictly my own character’s voice acting that encounters this problem.

In today’s patch though (Super Adventure Box: Back to School), it seemed to work for the first half of the day or so, then by the evening I was in silence mode all over again.

I’ve tried deleting Local.dat. I’ve tried running GW2 with the -repair command. I’ve tried updating my sound card on my computer. Nothing seems to work. It seems to just be random chance when it will work or not. Please share any insight you have to either fix this, or if you’ve had a similar problem.

Allow race change with Total Makeover Kit.

When I first made my characters, I was sure to have at least 1 of every race, in order to achieve all of the ‘Hero’ achievements. But as I near closer and closer to completing that, I realize that I would rather have certain characters be a different race (whether it’s because of racial abilities, looks, or otherwise).

I’d like to think that the main reason you cannot change races currently with the Total Makeover Kit is because it could/would change your personal story. Which I can understand.

But what if they made it to where you could change your race, ONLY under the circumstance of if you’ve completed your entire story of your current race and the one that you would like to change to?
