Just came back to this game after playing for a week or two at launch, so technically a new player. Anyways, leveled my first character to 80 and now I can’t progress any further because of this bug. Pretty sure Blizzard would have fixed something this broken in a few hours, and now I’m wondering why I moved to a game that is so broken. I should just go back to WoW.
I rely on the little pointer thing at the top to explore zones and now the green personal story won’t go away and I can’t change it. So I literally have nothing else to do but wait for this fix. Three days now.
I have a question regarding Server Populations: Are they measured by how many accounts have chosen the server as their ‘Home’ server – whether presently online or offline – or is it measured by how many people are presently playing? In short, in order to see a server drop from ‘Full’ to ‘Very High’, will I need someone to Transfer Servers, or will I need someone to simply log out of the game?
I don’t even get to the point where I can change a language. The white screen with the guild wars logo pops up and it says download at the bottom, downloads to 10497 -everytime- then the download speed drops to 0 and the screen closes without any error window popping up. It then opens again, doesn’t start a download, and shuts off again a few seconds later.
I went onto the website to download the GW2 client, and tried to run the setup. It’ll start downloading to 10497 and the the KB drop to 0 per sec and the setup stops, pops back up at 0 for a second or so, then everything shuts off. I’ve tried to shut off my firewall and my AVG and also try to run in admin but nothing seems to work. Finally, I got this error and I’m not too sure what it means. If anyone can help me, that would be appreciated. Thanks!
It ONLY comes up with the error when I try running it in admin mode.
