Axe works very nicely in a power build. The spite trait axe training really increases DPS. The aoe cripple plus retaliation is awesome for kiting. The axe is also a great weapon to build life force if you are using a power or tanks build that uses death shroud a lot.

One thing has been bothering me. I don’t understand why thieves can stomp and revive people in stealth, yet necros can’t stomp/revive in death shroud. It seams like an unnecessary limitation because we can be interrupted in death shroud, while when a thief is stealthed, the interrupts in the down state are useless with the exception of teleporting away.
