i play Fractals 48 regularly, and i must say that a sizable ammount of the decent people / good players that i have played with joined this guild. if you want to play in an kitten free enviroment i recommend trying this guild.

When there is obviously so much anger, disappointment, apprehension etc etc, over something you intend to implement, then why not let your customers decide?, with a vote, dont go down the SWG route etc, and kill the game dead.

so, no more gems for me until they remove character progression (grind) and stick with player progression (skill)

Objection. Fighting games require a substantial amount of grinding. You need to practice those combos for hours, memorise mixups, devise various footsies, character matchups, and hone your rushdown/keepaway in order to be successful. That’s not always skill, often that’s muscle memory and mental patterning.

no, that is training, with training you improve your skills, with grind you do not. it is very different.

This “gap” excuse is pretty lame. Adding stats is not necessary for filling up such a gap. Adding content is what is necessary.

From what i gathered, Ascended armor will replace exotics as the new cap standard, and they will not be releasing new tiers(probably more like adding in extra infusions to combat specific enemy types) and as they see the limited scope of Exotic gear and its overall use in pve they can boost stats on the “new standard” and then never again.

no, they only said they will not be adding new tiers every 3 months , they never said they wont do it ever again!.

well the games been out only about three months, and if taken in context i think he used it simply as a refference point to the concept many people have of this supposed encroaching “gear treadmill”

there is no need to inflate stats, not now, not in 6 months, if they are doing this now, they will have the same motives to do it again in X months

you just have to look at GW1, Urgoz, DOA, etc…

this is a non argument, equivalent to “dont like it?, dont play it”.
you are required exotics for hardcore guild dungeon runs, you will require this new tier (and the next, and the next…) even if it gives +1 precision.

this is completely different from green items, green items didnt introduce a new tier. thats the issue here, no one would complain if ascendant had the same stats as the exotic items.

Make it exotic stats with infusion slot.

No, I hate the new ascended items
if you really are going with this, at least dont taint wvw with gear grind

i hope this is wrong, this game was advertised as a no grind game, i didnt pay for a grind based game…. and if they do, i will just stop buying gems, and just focus on pvp/tpvp.
