Hmm, that sounds conveniet, if you are a ranged character, i myself am a guardian, and unless I want to use my crappy scepter, I have to run in to do anything, otherwise I get to sit on the walls doing nothing.

I agree with OP, having your armor break because of player kills is ridiculous. The entire point of WvW is to kill and be killed, it completely discourages players on a losing server to play, no only are they gonna lose every fight, but then they are also gonna lose all of their money from repairs.

My guess would be that ur CPU is bottlenecking ur gpu. With so many people on the screen, its probably not able to keep up. I recommend monitoring to see if ur gpu is running at 100%, or if ur CPU is.

anyways, im using a 680, and im also having some problems with turning my screen, but only usually when a zone is just loading.

Until then, i recommend turing ur LOD down to high, or lower and see if that helps.
Hopefully there will be a patch fixing a lot of issues for the new 600 series, either by arena net, or by nvidia.
