This was actually pretty weird, because on the day a you drew this picture of my character weilding sunrise I got Dawn and finished it :]. YOU HAS MAGIX DRAWINGS!
OK so for Sunrise I shamelessly traced over an in-game model for contours because jesus sword aren’t you fancy. He’s also not quite holding it properly because only after I made his hands I realized they should’ve been positioned differently but I got… lazy…
It’s probably not good enough to be a desktop picture but I had fun with it anyway!

If you draw this guy, in a kitten action pose, weilding Sunrise, i’ll a) treasure it and make it my desktop and bg and b) ink and colour it and repost here! Or, dual weilding his trusty sword and Faithful axe (Screenie 2).
Hey fnsnowzombie, im loving your art style, i have used your sketches for a few pencil sketch ideas of my own, but i have no means to show you unfortunately. Just assume they’re like yours but not as good haha. Anyway although i can see you have a massive workload i’d really like you to draw my Guardian Norn, her name is Skjaadi and shes a very stong hearted person and would put her life before an innocents anyday. She is like a valkyrie / angel. Id like her drawn with angel wings ( similar to the seraph shield but on both sides, Maybe kneeling and looking at the sky. Thanks very much in advance, If it turns out anything like i think it will ill deffo pay for a full colour commissioned drawing.

When the Ascended weapons are here current Legendary stats will be upgraded to meet the stats of the Ascended weapons.
Legendary transmutation:
Currently transmuting a Legendery casues it to loses it’s level of rarity from ‘Legendary’ i.e purple to the same rarity of the item used for stats in the transmutation i.e it will become exotic/rare/fine/masterwork/common etc.
And yes, it would be nice if you could choses the stats of the legendary you received.
Platinum is rather cheap (although you will need a jeweller to make the platinum ingots for you). Mithril drops like crazy from bags etc. As for Orichalcum (1000 ore required for 500 ingots) use orrmaps.com/servername – (i.e orrmaps.com/blacktide this is usually pretty good and up-to-date) – do daily runs picking up Orichalcum, Ancient Wood and Omnomberries, put the berries and wood on the TP.
After you’ve got the 500 ingots, you can sell excess ore acquired via dailes for more cash. You’ll also need a leatherworker to convert 500 hardened leather sections into 250 cured squares. Gift of Ascalon np – always plenty of groups going for daily AC runs, possibly do TA for chance at Onyx Lodestones.
Important to note that you will note lose any current progress towards the disciplines you have already learned, and can go back to it at any time by going to the respective trainer and paying a small fee to switch back. (Learning a new crafting discipline from level 0 is free).

Short answer – possibly. The mystic forge is one way of obtaining Dusk, other ways include the large chests at the end of the temple events in Orr.
With regards to the videos you have seen, the chances of acquiring a precursor via the forge have been upped since the posting of most forge attempts (allegedly). However, I am yet to see this myself as I am attempting to get Dawn to finish Sunrise (I reckon I could have bought Dawn by now).
My advice: gather the rest of your materials first, get your clovers, obsidian shards (you’ll need at least 1 million points of karma), ectos, gift of might and magic, Lodestones are expensive also so be prepared to be in for the long haul – perseverence will pay off. Worry about all that other stuff first, by this time, the elusive ‘scavenger’ hunt may have been released and you may find it a much cheaper way of getting Dusk.
