Guild Wars 2

Hello =)

I started playing Guild Wars 2 a few days ago during the free trial and recently purchased the game in full, so far i have been playing alone except for the odd stranger here and there during group events but now i would very much like to be part of a guild and just generally team up and have some fun..

What i’m looking for:

Large, active guild with a lot of members
Always has quite a few members online so i’m not on by myself a lot
Enjoys helping out it’s members with things they are doing in game
Speak English (It’s the only language i know)
PVE, WVW, PVP you name it, im up for it
People to help newer players learn the ropes, i still have a lot to learn i’m sure
Teamspeak would be nice, but not required

About me:

I’m currently a Level 26 Human, Male, Ranger called Cirithinn
I’m located on the Ruins Of Surmia server
I have played quite a few MMO’s including Tera, Neverwinter and EVE Online
I’m generally on quite a lot of the time at all different times of the day/night
I do have teamspeak
I’m from the UK
Male, 22

Yeh, there are always those kind of players in any game, i don’t let there judgements influence my own tho, i think that’s the key.. Especially when they say the same things over and over again on all types of topics.. Also i think if people become that unhappy with the game they are playing then there is little point to keep playing and making remarks over the forum.. But it happens anyway Lol

I think part of its just natural tho.. If you play a game for a very long time eventually you will get less enthusiastic about it and the kinks of the game and things you don’t like about it will probably arise and get to you more.. But still, thats when you take a break or stop playing.. Not go on the forums making bad remarks all day Lol Oh well =)

I just completed Kessex Hills 100% but looking around in game and out of game to make sure i didn’t miss any secrets, then i think i’ll be off to Brisban Wildlands

Does anyone have any advice on finding a guild? i would like to start playing with a group more regularly and not so many strangers most of the time Lol

I definitely am taking my time, especially in a game like this where there are so many hidden things to find and it’s very enjoyable finding them.. I actually stumbled onto a hidden cave system last night in Kessex Hills.. I got surprised by a Jungle Troll from behind, the first time i had saw one.. I ended up rolling away twice to the left and i fell like 100ft down to my death.. I laughed for about 5 minutes straight before going back and cave diving some more =P

And yeh, i agree about trying out different classes i actually started with a Guardian because i like to be “Tanky” i played a tank in almost all other games such as Tera and Neverwinter but it was very different here where you can have many different builds for different classes and polish your stats and traits quite well.. So i decided i’m going for Ranger and have my pets tank/damage for me while i shoot from a distance =)

I am actually looking for a guild right now, hopefully an active one where we can do group missions and champions together, but i don’t want to jump into the first one i see so i’ll also take my time with that
