its not steals tho its shadowstep
So first let me state I play a thief, far from the best but certainly ahead of the curve. I know the tricks of the class and what it can do.
So my question is, has anyone noticed thieves shadowstep stomping a teleported away enemy with almost godly reflexes.
I have had this happen from two different thieves on two different occasions in sPvP. I Always time my shadow escape for the very last possible second, and on these occasions these people shadow stepped to me so fast to not interrupt their stomp i couldnt believe it.
Now perhaps they are god tier players but it just felt fishy. Anyone else notice anything like this?
If i can remember off the top my head, the stats you are aiming for are (ROUGHLY) 30% crit / 180% crit dmg / 300-500 healing power / 2000 -2500 armor / 15-17k hp.
So just piece together stuff til you get those numbers, there is no correct way to do it use what you have and work from there
ill have to try it out thanks for the feedback
The idea behind this is to forfeit the re stealth of d/p and focus on becoming extremely evasive with triple dodge + s/d
Just a thought I find it pretty fun to play and overall pretty durable with the exception still being burn guard but some things can be adjusted to account for them.
Weapons: s/d + sb
Heal: withdrawl
Utility: Shadowstep / Bandits Defense / Blinding Powder
Elite: Impact Strike
Spec=
Trickery – 3 / 1 / 2
Acrobatics – 3 / 3 / 2
Daredevil – 1 / 2 / 3
Amulet – Marauder
Sigils – s/d = air / fire
sb = air / energy
Rune – Rune of Melandru (others are dolyak / vampirism)
Playstyle -
The idea behind this build is super evasive, and strong steady damage.
You are always using sword 3/3 and dodge. your dodge damage is tough to land but it does 2-3k dmg on crit + your evades from sword 3 you are INCREDIBLY illusive. Your survivability will be tremendously high even in heavy team fights.
If you can master balancing your energy and initiative you will be very untouchable in the 1v1
Add onto it Bandits Defense is amazing, the knock down + block is incredible and same with finishing with impact strike
My biggest struggle will still be burn guards which is why i would recommend switching trickery to shadow arts taking the first tier 3 choice of condi removal and making more use of blinding powder and dagger 5 and if necessary switching withdraw to hide in shadows
I hope you guys will give this build a try, i love my thief and after getting one shotted in HoT zones i decided to take my frustration to pvp to make a “tankier” build and im having a blast with it. Very fast paced and has a high skill ceiling.
Questions comments concerns?

So in bw3 I could give my party 25 stacks of might as tempest using Tempestious Aria, – -Overloading Fire having them stand in it gave 10 stacks of might
-flash freeze or feel the burn for 2 more stacks of might
- fire warhorn 4 to double it
if we were both standing inside my fire overload we would both be at 13 stacks of might
when i fire overload it would transfer my might to my party member giving him 25
it no longer works as my 4 does not give him any more might, so is the live version wrong or was it a bug in the beta?
was this a bug?
UPDATE -
So i have played more with it and unless im doing something incredibly wrong, warhorn 4 is not transferring ANYTHING to the party. Im testing with my friend and it does not transfer any boons or any might.
