hmm it got to about 133,045 files then crashed during the verifying, doing the serious error thing

Thanks, I had done the repair before but hadn’t tried deleting the local.dat
I am trying it now, will tell you how it goes

Since the most recent update my client has been crashing every time I load it up, It downloads a few Mb then crashes, then when I reopen it, it has gone back to the beginning.
I think others are having the same problems,
Any ideas?
