League 1: Jade Quarry vs Sanctum of Rall vs Blackgate vs Tarnished Coast vs Stormbluff Isle vs Maguuma.

League 2: SoS vs FA vs DB vs BP vs YB vs EB vs CD vs IoJ vs Kn

League 3: HoD, vs NS vs FC vs SF vs DH vs DR vs ET vs GoM vs AR

This is my guess from looking at the current match ups. Guilds have been transfers before the beginning of season 1. SBI is currently beating FA and Mag in score, which is why I hope they make it into Gold league(1).

I’ve been playing Guild Wars 2 since release and loving it. The changes and additions you’ve made to the game are great. Yes, there is still much more to do and I’m sure it will be better than any other modern MMO out there. I am in a hardcore on TC WvW guild and we raid tag less with geared, comp’d, 80’s only. Anything else is just…weak because 30,40,50,60+ man zergs are merciless.

Hugh Norfolk said on WvW borderlands preview stream "Zergs to us, we don’t mind. We always and forever will not mind big groups, big organized groups that have a lot of fun. That’s the point of WvW. Right? You want 100 on 100 big epic fights but when its mindless … when you just get a bunch of people that’s not very organized and they run around; and that’s the most efficient way to play then that’s not what we like.

I think Hugh misspoken he threw the number 100 on 100 fights out there. Everything else is in that quote is on point. I can’t imagine how hard it is to be on a live stream with some of the GW2 fans we have, especially in the chat lol.

Below are some ideas I believe might help World Vs World.

Leagues – 4 leagues of 6 for NA, 3 leagues of 6 and league of 9 in EU if that works for EU.
Diamond League / Platinum League – Gold League – Silver League – Bronze League

All leagues should get finishers for 1st, 2nd, and thirst place to be fair. (If people want this)

There has been a lot of talk about what is fair/fun in WvW and I hope you the developers come to the conclusion that close/equal 24/7 coverage matchups is what’s fair. It was nice touring the lower ranked servers with the new random system but the fight are so few, rare, fair, and mostly unfair. This week TC is up against SoR; after the weekend we might not have much coverage because people might give up and wait for the next match up on Friday.

Transfers – Up to you. BG,SoR,JQ,TC,FA,DB seem to have a good WvW coverage. In Tiers where people run around for hours and not have a single fight and have a low PvE population might need to merge servers. Also if people did not know, the world you logged in at the start of the season is the season your rewards are based off regardless of transfer.

Balancing Ideas –
1) Skill be a factor – Have level 80 kills count towards the score without orb buffs. This might bring a skill factor that counts in WvW. Yes, I know on Sept 17 stomps with each orb buff will grant a point each. The server with more coverage will most likely have more time with the orb buffs and more stomping points. My guild does not stomp because and I quote Hugh Norfolk “You’re opening yourself up to be absolutely dismasted in WvW” while stomping. It will be interesting to see if people stomp with orb buffs in larger 15+ vs 15+ fights.

2) Camps flip fast in WvW, but if they scaled like PvE events; people might have a chance to defend the camp. Scale if there is 5+ attacking or whatever the magic number is.

3) Up leveled people really don’t have a chance in WvW. Having a system like PvP might be a good thing for WvW but also allow all PvE equipment. Unlocked traits, Runes(?), exotic armor – weapons – trinkets. Not being fully traited/geared just doesn’t cut it in WvW. Up leveled people are hurting the server when they die and rally the enemy.

Give us tools we need to grow.
4) Alerts – when towers, keeps, and maybe even SMC is being attacked. There are archers on every gate, why can’t they alerts us? This will create more fights.

5) Build/Gear Template codes – We had this in GW1 and we need this in GW2. It’s a hassles to share builds, equipment, and to switch between builds.

6) Inspect Players – Request to see other players/allies build and equipment or be able to see your allies gear without requesting. I love this feature in PvP, I wish it was in PvE and WvW.

7) Scouting – lots of times numbers of 25+ are called when there’s only about 15 and a group of 15 is called when there’s actually 25. Can we get some type of feature that counts the number of allies and enemies on our screen. For Fairer fights, right enemy numbers will be called.

I’m excited for the next release on September 17th! I can’t wait to try the new features and explore terrain in WvW. Good luck to the developers creating this and I will be playing WvW regardless of any change as long as there’s good fights to be had.
