Just wanted to add that I am using Cox Communications as an ISP, and STILL get this error a week later. My friend, who lives 3 miles away and also uses Cox Communications for their ISP, can play just fine. I played at his house all weekend with NO connection issues. I REALLY hope this gets fixed… I have some pretty bad GW2 addiction issues that I need fixed

I was playing without any issues up until this morning when I started getting this error. I disabled my firewall and antivirus as suggested (but not too please to do…) and it didn’t fix the problem. Got into the game, got DCed maybe a minute later. I did the “fix” where you change the target to add /clientport 80, and while it seemed to work for a while, I had HORRIBLE lag spikes every minute instead; still unplayable.

Playing on Yak’s Bend in the US, for what it’s worth. I just wanna play this awesome game
