Second match & who’s on the opposing team ……same exact 5 man premade (who admitted they “love farming noobs” after I asked them why aren’t they playing in ranked)
I ran into that premade in unranked while duo-queuing. We won like 500-60. I got the sense that they were just random people who decided to group together to have some fun.
OMG thank you! My point exactly. We were all just working to get better at team play. Like isn’t that the point since it’s 5v5?
Ellie you are blowing my mind. You want a change correct? To go back to the way the system used to be when it was even more broken. When there was a team que and solo que. It didn’t work, that simple. You are the one forum lurking complaining about this in other posts demanding change so yeah I would consider that a slight amount of rage. You are using drastic assumptions, I have not been PvPing forever. Only really got into when the PvP seasons started since the old system was broken and I didn’t enjoy it. Again your MMR is matching against what it considers fair. I am really curious to see what your PvP stats are (games played v. games won). I got no problem admitting I am around a 2:1 ratio. Just because someone disagrees with your opinion does not make them a “Troll”. And it isn’t a matter about farming solo players but getting better at team play. Some of us enjoy competitive team play. Made myself clear on that many times. And there isn’t a team que because it did not work so your solution is to bring back what didn’t work before. Logic. You clearly arn’t terrible cause you have been PvP’ing since GW1. Random arenas v. Codex arenas worked in GW1, HA v. JQ/FA. There were tons of play styles to work with. This game not so much. Isn’t hot join still an option? Thought that is where most people ‘tested’ their builds and learned. The point y’all are making is teams should have their own que. It didn’t work before o they fixed it to what it is now. The with wins we had from the above screenshots we started to play against people with better MMR. Clearly the system thought your skill level could handle us but poor communication with your team on rotations lead to that 500-0. Having a team que and solo que along with ranked and unranked would add to many options for queing so the que times would be terrible. You clearly arn’t terrible if we have matched together in the past. Either the system thought you could handle those matches or there weren’t enough people playing. Teams get put into a higher MMR so your solo team must have a better MMR then all of us by ourselves? I get the argument of teams vs solos and how you think they need to be separated but they did that and it didn’t work. So they changed it, combined them, and adjusted the MMR system for it. Add a solution instead of raging please, something new that they havn’t tried.

Yea I know they had a lot of bunkers, my poor unsuspecting PUG couldn’t even capture one point when we went up against them….. And he was trying to say they were just some random people that just now started playing together….. I’m pretty sure they’ve been playing together for a long time, seems like I’ve seen them before like ages ago.
Def wrong man. I have known 1 of them for sometime but we fractals together more than we ever PvP. The other we met on Saturday. 3rd guy added his guildie in and then we found that last after queing. He was a random that talked back to us in map chat so we just que’d up for the laughs. Think what you want but those are the facts my friends. Randoms trolling in PvP turning into friends that actually understand how to play. What you missed out on was all the crazy jokes and crazy laugh we had going after queing up.
OK I don’t know why you keep calling me “bro” and “man” but I’m definitely not either one of those and that’s getting annoying FYI. Also I recognize at least 1 or 2 of those people’s names from pvp from a way long time ago, and they usually have a premade, so these people aren’t your’e every day solo players like your’e trying to make them out to be. If they play alone they are way easier to beat……my point was premades have an unfair advantage (unless they are PVEers) and that’s never gonna change.
Well beautiful isn’kitten 5v5? Can’t win a match alone. So why not help your odds and make a team out of it. Just tossing that out there. Can’t expect synergy with solo’s to know where to go or what fights to be in. Solo que, message people to make friends, start a rando party and run with it. I tried reaching out to you in-game but seems you would rather just solo que. Yes a team that talks and knows whats up will usually benefit and win. Instead of complaining that people are playing an MMO and wanting to play together, why not party it up some. My guild only has 4 active people in it, of that only 1 plays PvP at all. When ever I play I start off solo que’d and make parties on the fly with people I see that know what they are doing. Better my odds. As for why is that happening in unranked is cause ranked gets stale after diamond. I’d rather play with people that want to learn and enjoy PvP then people just grinding their way through the divisions.

Like I say, map rotation is huge and hard to do right with pugs. What can’t be seen is all the Mesmers on Forefire portal playing as they should. Was a solid match, jumping buggers. Those 500-0’s were all cause we rotated according to where the opponents went. Look at what just happened on the Pro League, Team PZ vs Final Form. Final had the fights but PZ had the map rotation and won. Hard to do that right without communication.

Hello, this is the Engi from that ‘Pre-made’ here. Just wanted to let you know that that entire team was made of out people playing matches who ended up on the same team and just decided to start a party. If you play enough and see the same people then party it up. We were 500 – 0’ing way before you got involved and before we formed a party. I have solo que’d against pre-mades and guild teams plenty.
