So… when it comes to the jumping puzzle (which is itself already pretty annoying in my opinion) like
Why does there have to be a score-tracker and a time limit and eventually everyone gets reset? Can there be a version where that’s not the case and you just like, run the puzzle maybe? Am I the only one that doesn’t really care and kinda just wants to run it to have a jumping puzzle?

You can’t kill a dragon using a handfull of people. Desteny Edge tryed, and now Snuff and Glint are dead.

That’s not really fair because weren’t they actually doing really well? Just that their Guardian left them.

But they had a DRAGON backing them up. Again, I think Dragon back up beats a bunch of alcoholics.

I know, right? Like… Braham, lemme tell you about my buddy who was slowly losing himself to Mordremoth and I had to shank him with his own godkitten sword.

I really want Rytlock to come back and Braham to mouth off to him. Or hell, even bring in Logan so he can be like ‘dude no. You’re being me, don’t be me I was a tosser.’

Oh! And Braham brings up Snaff like he actually gives a kitten about him, while actively engaging in the exact kind of behaviour that got Snaff killed in the first place.

In retrospect? I wish ‘The Unbroken’ had won the poll for the name of the guild, because now it would be funny.

Something funny I found was after returning to Hoelbrak to see if the Fang changes in the world. Seeing it didn’t, I wondered if there was a dialogue about it, so I take to NPCs. Elder Ulf in particular
And he straight up says ‘I don’t think that chipping the fang actually means anything by itself’

So… yeah.

Braham himself? Yeah, I can get the grief thing, even if a bit of it feels forced. He’s always been kind of a completely brash idiot, but you think he might listen to the person who’s already killed off two dragons and has a plan so that no one else’s mother will die.
’People’s mothers are dying every minute Jormag lives so I’m gonna lead an army and get a lot more people killed to kill Jormag’

Like… I’m sorry, Jormag is active, but is he like, doing anything we’ve seen? Yeah the Icebrood are around, Svanir are around, but killing Jormag won’t stop them. Risen are still around, Mordrem are still around.

And as has already been noted, the last time that a bunch of dudes tried to cowboy up and kick in an Elder Dragon’s front door, Verdant Brink happened. And they had a bunch of airships and firepower, not a battalion of alcoholics.

I’d really like to see crafting tables for every discipline available in the guild hall. It just makes sense for what a guild hall is supposed to be and it saves a lot of the back and forth when I’m trying to make the things to donate to my guild in order to build something.

I’m also fairly certain that a lot of people are missing that a ‘virtuous purpose’ to a Mursaat is probably still REALLY bad for Tyria. He could want to continue purging non-believes, or take revenge for the fact that he got his kitten kicked before, for his race. He might be going after the egg. And if he’s the one who absorbed the power of the Bloodstone? Or even if he isn’t, that energy went SOMEWHERE and that’s bad news. The Bloodstone exploding ALONE is bad news. Those things are sorta tied to magic in the world and even if that energy contained in it just went back into the system, the deaths of Zhaitan and Mordy have both showed that huge influxes of energy being allowed to escape back into the wild isn’t really a good thing.
Primordus being active? I’ve said it already, he’s not the dragon I wanted to go after next (but who knows what the others are doing, Kracky and Jornag have been sending their minions to harass Tyria for awhile now, they’ve gotta be getting agitated that they keep getting roflstomped,)
But Primordus has been awake for a long kitten time and he hasn’t made a move. It COULD just be because there’s a lot of energy to gobble up now (which actually… suggests the other dragons should be interested. I wonder if the various dragons don’t like each other?)
So Primordus being active? I think I said this in another thread, we didn’t need to hear that he was active and have a whole ten minute conversation on ‘zomg, Primordus is active, that’s super bad.’

We had a moment where we find out that Caudy is in fact the White Mantle leader (we already knew he was an idiot,) that Lazarus has chosen NOW to come back with some secret motive, and that there’s at least one dragon who’s ready to make a play.

I dunno, I could say something about trying to hike the stakes up too high, but disappointing? EH, wouldn’t say that.

Like, talking with Canach and Rytlock and Marjory is almost enough to off-set the scene by itself

Primordus ain’t the dragon I wanted to go after next, but the realization that he’s active and the implication it’s because of the magic that was released by Mordy biting the dust, that maybe killing dragons can be a super awful idea?
It’s a wham moment.

Am I the only one who’s paid attention ever and realized that most of the human nobility are either idiots or into shady things. I think you can count the ones who shouldn’t be executed on one hand.
Like, the Noble Encampment in Verdant Brink sums things up pretty well.

Also, daily reminder that Gnashblade did nothing wrong. And if he had been elected, he would have built a wall and made Mordremoth pay for it.

I’m another one who wasn’t really that thrilled with the choice of names. I figured the group had to be named eventually

Which is typecasting, but there’s more ring than there is to Dragon’s Watch. Like, yeah… we’re just gonna watch those dragons do their thing man. Dun worry about us over here, we’re just watching.
The Unbroken is just kind of what. And Eternity’s Guard is the least lame, but it’s still incredibly lame.

This post is rambly. Basically, maybe we dun need to name the new group of heroes? Let ’em keep an old name. Or let players assume a name for them?
Hell, fold them under The Pact.
