Guild Wars 2

Hi all,
To begin with, I made my first ranger with the level 80 power-up a few days back and am thoroughly enjoying myself with it! I have played a zerker thief on and off since 2012 and haven’t really changed my approach to taking down champs or bosses (which is my loss). The recent HoT expansion drew me back into the game and the recent update has me hooked for now.

To the point, I made the ranger because I enjoy the ranged longbow combat aspect and have NO intention of taking the char to PvP (WvW however is still on the table). I did many extensive google searches and could not find any high critical dps builds with the exception to one that was made in 2013, so I set out to build my own and this is what I came up with.

As a new ranger player, if anyone could give me some insight on how to make this build more effective overall that would be appreciated. I dont have enough gold or mats to make ascended gear, so what you see is what I currently have slotted.

As a last note, the only reason for 2 LB’s is one builds up precision stack (to 25) and I swap to use the AOE effect. I dont know how else to demonstrate damage potential or actual output, but my #2 LB ability can go as high as 12k dmg, and the #1 usually stays around 2600-3200 per hit.
