Why not? Would just be an added bonus for the purchase. A GW2 collectors edition would still be relevant to GW2:HoT. Since you need the base game to play.

For those who shelled out the $150.00 for it, I think it would be a nice bonus for us to get access to HoT: CBT. Especially since it was some what lackluster on the in-game perks.
