They nerfed the droprate of those skins to the ground since fractured. Everyone has been complaining about this.

I assume there hasn’t been a response from anet?

I, along with many other guild mates, run fractals 19/39/49 quite often and none of us have gotten a fractal skin since the fractured patch. Is this fairly common now? if so, could it have been intended or is it a bug maybe? At this point, I only play fractals to try and get weapon skins and it’s not looking like I will at this point.

A little over a week ago there was a patch that fixed the visuals on a few weapons such as Vision of the Mists to make it less transparent when stowed (more visible), and one on the Ghastly Grinning Shield that gave it more smoke effect. I noticed on both of them, before the patch fix, when you previewed the weapons the effects would display properly, but when equipped they were not the same as the preview. After the patch I noticed Vision was much brighter and it looked like the preview finally! I started using it again and was absolutely loving it…then a small bug patch a week or so later reversed these awesome visual changes, now I cant see my sword again. Please let me see my sword!

Also, I realize I have different dyes, but it doesn’t help either way.

In general, I do try and avoid Champs because I know regardless of my contribution I will rarely get drops. This is sad to me because I have been in smaller groups that needed that extra help to down a champ, but few come to help due to the low chance of getting loot. I have done Melandru numerous times in the last couple weeks with groups anywhere from 8-20+ and never gotten a drop although I get gold on the event.
