Have you got ambient occlusion turned on for Guild Wars 2 in the Nvidia control panel utility?
I had a similar issue when I played with that setting, went away when I disabled it.
I dont think the issue I am seeing is caused on Arenanets end, since it can be avoided (with horrible latency consequences) by using a VPN and I have heard other people having success with using them as well.
That being said, we can’t see what it is about Guild Wars 2s packets which is triggering these issues, so if they could get put out information for the ISPs to be able to look into whether their throttling is interefering with your packets, that would be lovely.
(Please note, I doubt all of the issues on this thread are caused by this, as it seems to be a generic “Oh no, wheres the server gone?!?” message, there are likely lots of different problems in here).

Could this be related to ISP throttling?
I am noticing a correspondance between the times this issue occurs and the sort of times that my ISP are known to throttle P2P and newsgroup connections hard.

Oh, and additionally I ran in repair mode to check for a bad install. No issues found, log attached.

Hi there,
I have been having an issue with the game for the last few days.
I created several characters, and have no problems with any of them except for my charr mesmer. This character (Cattlebert Ernstein) will frequently get stuck on the loading screen, eventually recieving a 7:11:3:189:101 error.
-This only effect this specific char. Different characters loading into the same zones work fine.
-This issue seems to occur at peak times. I played all day yesterday with no problems, as soon as the evening peak time was reached the issue recurred.
-I have run the game in diagnostic modem, network log attached.
-I have run the game with the Clientport 80 option, the issue recurred.
-I have verified that the relevant ports are being forwarded.
Any help with this issue would be most appreciated.
Regards,
Ross Childs
