I think I stole it from one of you. I completed my daily and got two rewarsds. Two chest icons, two karma jugs, two coins, two laurels. /bug report submitted describing exactly how it happened.

I too received double the Daily reward. Upon completion I had two chests at the bottom right. Each containing the Daily reward.

I did it first try. I don’t see what the big deal is, you just watch the flags as Sieren says and go right after it is done blowing.

I was running into this issue yesterday on Yak’s Bend as well. It seems Timberline Falls has a lot of event bugs though. There were a couple that were not working correctly the whole time I was in there.
Some examples:
-Defend against undead waves at Serpent Waypoint in the south
Problem: Waves were not spawning
-Fend off the undead waves at Rankor Ruins
Problem: Waves were not spawning
-Renown Heart: Partake in the moot
Problem: Using buckets on passed out NPC’s did not wake them

I haven’t tested it, but I am pretty sure you just login to your account and download the client. Let it download and use your email to login to play. The right of ownership is based upon the login with email. You should have no problems downloading it on another machine to play as long as you still use you r same account info.

trade post words not readable

I get that too. From my understanding it is based entirely because you use the small UI option. The Trading Post is an off-shoot of the Chromium browser, so scaling the browser down to smaller UI makes the text distort a little bit. For now, we either deal with it or change our UI back to normal.

I am not sure if they are planning on fixing this, but I am sure it is not a high priority.

CPU upgrade - make much difference for FPS?

Great thank you for your help definatly going to look into the above combo

I just want to confirm that you know you will need a new motherboard and RAM if you upgrade to that CPU from your current one. The socket size is different so that new CPU is not compatible with your current one.

This is not entirely accurate. The wattage in tests and reviews that you are seeing is being pulled from the wall. In other words, it is the cumulative wattage being used by all components. The 690 I can imagine using that much as it is 2 GPU’s if I am not mistaken. On top of that, the 600 series cards are notoriously power efficient. The card itself at full load is probably only drawing 175W. Here is a link to power consumption of a 680: http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforce-gtx-680-review/9

The wording I gave made it sound like it was the card requiring 550W + 140 for the motherboard.

But I did mean for it needing 550-600W all in, but advised getting an 800W just incase for future RAM, optical devices etc added later.

Plus 175W is idle power consumption, full load is 350-400W.

I agree. The 175W I mentioned was the GPU only Wattage being used at full load, not the system. The full load 350-400W is the entire system.

Anyway, getting higher than 500W PSU is always a smart move for future builds/upgrades. But it will not hurt anything if he got the 500W. (as long as it is a high quality one)

What Videocard.

It does depend on what power supply you have. Do you know the rated wattage of your power supply?

@Waar – no its not, depending on the card the power requirements goes up. A 680/690 needs around 550W some even 600W, then there is 140-150W per motherboard+CPU, then the small amount of wattage per other card or device. All adds up doesn’t it :P

The cards can run on lesser wattage while in desktop mode, but if run it full pelt and you don’t have the required wattage available the card will lag, and eventually fail if run too long like that (long as in 6 months+).

Rox any clue how much your system costs to build?

My components are a little older so I don’t think you could buy my exact components. I am also in US so I am not sure how much it would be for you. I would say all the components together would be around $800-$1000 if you are building the entire tower yourself.

Roxim, what do you feel your bottleneck is? CPU, RAM (1600?), or video card?

If I had to guess, I would say it is both CPU and graphics card memory. I am not sure if putting settings down will improve it, but it might. I don’t think that I need better performance though as I don’t miss anything in the big battles.

I have the following:
Core i7 920 @ 3.4GHz
18GB Ram
GTX 670
Monitor at 1920×1080

I get a solid 60fps at most places (I have vsync on), but in WvW large battles, it goes down to maybe 25-30fps. It is still easily playable and I don’t notice much lag tbh. I would say that the system you want to build will be plenty for you. I play at all max settings btw.
