We just had this bug, and we did it. One generator took around 10-15 minutes, and after the 8th generator went down, the boss fight started OK.
So, it’s managable. Just count your time for the 1st generator and compare 7x that time with what you need to do the run again.
P.S. There’s a timer on the generator’s super shield effect. If you think you can just wait till it’s over, here’s some bad news for you: the timer will just reset instantly at 0s and it’ll be 2 hours again.
P.P.S. The boss itself is harder than that. If you’re first timers – be prepared to sit another 1-2 hours on the boss. We did it in around that time.
