I think it is fixed, sometimes these pets just reposition before F2 comes off.

Culling only got removed in pve and wvw, so yeah i’ve never seen a thief get the full 4 secs of revealed. I see black lines (thief pops out of stealth), wait 2 secs and then i see the thief. And about thief nerfs, most of these nerfs were very needed, especially the early ones. If you do not acknowledge this, you are obviously trolling. In the rangers case, not so much. Lowering shortbow dmg, lowering pet dmg, zephyrs speed nerf, quickness nerf (rangers have easiest acces to quickness), natural healing nerf (doesnt heal pet anymore, might be bugged) which now only heals for 133 (for player once every 3s) which is worse than regeneration with no healing power, hardly worth it to be a top tier trait. And if you think larcenous strike and flanking strikes dmg is bad, checkout ranger’s sword dmg,… And I seriously doubt sickem is going to inflict 10 s of revealed, probably would just trigger the revealed, so like ‘4’ s of revealed… I doubt it is going to make a difference…

And talking about thieves getting nerfs? Rangers have been getting some aswell, dont get me started,…
This buff to sic em is not going to change anything, i have never ever seen a thief get the full 4 s of revealed, culling issues and all… (or whatever its called). A good thief should never lose to a ranger in a 1v1 (unless he’s bunkering). But no build should ever be able to win against a bunker in a 1v1 anyways… And regarding the ‘nerf’ to larcenous strike: evade, decent to good damage and boon STEALING is a bit OP for a two skill combination. Im surprised they kept it at 1 boon… And i also don’t see why only a few classes should have boon removal….
I dont know why spirit ranger is on top of so many lists. It lacks a stunbreaker, and spirits get pooped on by aoe. And those buffs, dont they have a internal cooldown of 10 s, and aren’t they single target? (I’m sorry if i’m wrong about this)
Sure this makes this build better for 1v1’s, giving the ranger more chance of getting the buff. The only problem might be the elite and call lightning. Elite isnt that great either, it does have a long cooldown, and is easily killed by aoe….

ok, ranger is not the weakest class, but surely not the best… The thing with ranger is its mediocre-ness. Its decent at many things, but there’s always a class thats better. Warrior, thief and mesmer are all better at bursting, necro is better at condies, and guardian is better for support. This, makes ranger actually one of the more balanced classes. Ooh, and pet ai is the biggest kitten i’ve ever seen… Sure, good rangers can make pets work, but it surely isnt the best class mechanic. Sure, ranger has all that protection and regen, but guardian and ele can do this aswell.
Its prolly getting the S rank becoz loads of pve ‘nubs’ ( sorry to say this,but this is true) are playing spvp now aswell, since daily was so easy to achieve. I like the changed daily pvp, it takes longer than 5 min to get it now…
Most of these players are so bad i guess even bad rangers can kill them…

Didn’t know sick em had that many bugs, never used it and never thought it deserved a place on my bar, but yeah activating the signet of renewal got buffed a bit, which i’d prolly never do….
only signet that got better was the stone one (why would you activate signet of renewal, pets are too stupid to really benefit from 25% more dmg and that shout sick em is much better if you wanna use this skill for his active part), other classes got signet buffs aswell… so this is can not be the reason why rangers are so ‘OP’ now
And greatsword buffs were needed in order for them to get some playtime, they still do only decent to low dmg, but i guess the evade is nice
Well, i guess so, Wallach. And signets arent that great…signet of renewal is pretty much always on passive and stone needs too much investing to be useful. That combined with 30 in wilderness survival to get that nice condition removal (1 per 10 or all conditions to pet is good but not ‘great’) leaves little customization left.

Ranger on highest tier, you guys are crazy… spirits viable, hahahaha. Dont really know when pets dmg got increased. The update only changed some activation times ( 2s to 1,5… really huge difference…) and added some health and toughness to some pets, so they don’t get oneshotted if not playing a beastmaster.
Rangers are only good when the player who plays em is good. I tried mesmer once and was owning ppl from game 1, without even knowing what i was really doing…
I think most ppl who think that rangers are the best class are pve players who just got in spvp and dont have a clue what they are doing… Most ppl, not all. Bunker rangers might be a bit overpowered, but not nearly like ele bunker in its prime, but the class in total, not even close

What’s wrong with anet, nerfing ranger. Lets just delete the class, its worse then every other class in both pve and pvp…
Quickness was the only way for rangers to get close to the damage-output of other classes. Lets nerf it. The swapping resetting petskills was the only good thing about pets. Lets nerf it. Anet always seems to find the worst way to balance stuff, nerf 100b or time warp by changing dmg or duration would have been a better solution.
funny thing: check mesmer and ranger traits on regeneration at 75% health (5s for ranger 10 for mesmer,both adept and minor traits and both 30s cd), or necro and ranger traits on might gain by using signets: necro 3 stacks for 10s, ranger 1 stack for 5 s… really Anet?
