This post was NOT to support the idea for causal players to get ‘free/easy’ rewards, and I’m NOT casual/PvE/new wvw player who wants easy rewards then leave. I am currently sitting around 2.8k wvw rank and spent lots of badges/proofs for sieges/foods/traps/disablers, etc.

I personally do not agree less than 100 badges per 1 ticket conversion.

Tbh, I haven’t thought about hoarders before posting the topic but I see lots of good ideas/precautions. (If this idea is on ANet’s interest at all)

The topic title says it.
It will give stronger incentives for both soft/hardcore wvw players to “actively” play WvW more, rather than leave after pip track is complete.
+ No more complaints about badges are rather useless
+ X #of badges per X# of tickets can change but I say 100 badges per wvw skrimish ticket seems fair for both players and ANet.

and yes I know this or similar complaint/suggestion has been made in the past, but I just wanted to keep this topic up in first page regularly.

Dear ANet,
Please add a text box or a list on Guild Claiming Tab of Objective Upgrades Window of used tactivators history and its users/trolls, lasting until the objective is flipped.
So we can at least teach and prevent the new players or prevent trolls/other server users wasting tactivators.
Frustration and blind hatred is all I see on chat when tactivators are literally wasted.

How about magnified scopes? Same usage as tricks and traps, using 5 ~10 supply for players to see farther and mark an enemy player or objective up to max 3 targets, and those marked targets will be highlighted for allies on map for brief time.

I hope requirements are more relevant to performance and dedications to WvW for any WvW rewards including this backpack. I do not want to see any more rewards involving requiring insane amounts of golds/fortune.

A subtle hand gesture from enemy necro who is stacked or half hidden behind other bulky characters to green dungs flying towards you? Hell yeah, I say it’s a long due balance change that has finally arrived, at least for WvW zerg fights scenario. sPvP or small scaled fights weren’t a friendly place for epidemic anyway

tl;dr, I’m just adding my thoughts here. It’s not perfect or specific.

Wish there was a timed or something ‘extra’ or a bonus timed event announced by the game, visually indicated on maps, happening in minor WvW map objectives like monuments or indigenous mob camps like dredge/centaurs/hyleks, or could just be a small to medium sized objectives such as camps and towers or a something new. Give those places something meaningful more than its current and/or aesthetic value. This could happen and change area every skirmishes or hourly.

Continual and frequent disconnections

Although my client doesn’t disconnect often, my screen goes black few times a day. It is definitely not a connection issue or PC problem. I can see my GW2 mouse cursor moving just fine, no FPS drop, the screen going pitch black and not interactable at all. All I can do is shut down GW2 and restart the launcher.
and it happened during my sPvP match today which makes me feel sad even more.

still going to post mine. I’m just too lazy

What if ANet adds WvW glider blueprints for one time uses with high(but still reasonable) cost from vendors/provisioner. Possibly add wvw masteries too to utilize 12345 skill slots appropriate for wvw
Still using badges/golds/PoH(Proof of Heroics), but costs about same as alpha golem to stop all players in the squad just abuse it.

Hi,

I’m pretty sure other players already suggested this countless times..
Can we please have a traits save feature available from Retrainer NPC / Instant re-trait items?
I enjoy both roaming + guild zerg in wvw, and those two situation requires different traits and utils.

p.s. I thought GW1 had this kind of feature?

I do not believe removing all WP costs will give better MMO experience to everyone:. Especially GW2. GW2 is about an adventure where you encounter dynamic events, beautiful(smart) terrain editing, and I believe these things are what makes you feel Tyria is alive and interacting with you. So I support WP costs, and hope ANet won’t remove them. But I believe WP costs + WP system should not become the tool of punishment for players in some situations..

I agree with few suggestions about:
1) Make wp costs to major cities free.
2) Make wp costs to respawn free. (but, wp distance limited: player is already punished to repair their gears by his/her death and ofc have to run back where they have died to finish the event and claim the reward <- already a punishment)
3) Make wp costs based on their level zones (not the level of the character trying to use wp)
4) As Ayane Hajinmon.9165 has pointed out, WP will be contested and players cant use that WP to the warp to that spot anyway (where events occur).
Current wp rule with contested area and dynamic event is discouraging people to help each other out. I haven’t read everyone’s postings on this thread yet … so I suggest
ANet should allow players to use contested WP but wp will drop players ‘around’ that wp area with no cost. This way, people will not be punished with golds for using wp, and also encouraging players to socialize. By the way, if someone already suggested this, i support his/her suggestion

5) ANet should enhance the reward of 100% map completion. Currently, what you get from 100% world map completion is.. 2 Gift of Exploration, little star next to your character level above your character, which you cannot see unless someone in your party targets you : /.. We (or at least me) are doing 100% map completion just to get the items we need for our legendary weapons. This part was very frustrating, felt like another way of grinding. ANet should improve the reward may be relating to something with WPs or anything..
