Same here, I logged in 1x after the update, ported to Auric Basin then after about 30 seconds crashed, now I can get to character select screen but none of my characters will load into the map.

I went to temp cleared my GW2Cache folder though and tried again and I got in.

Lag is back again 3 day in a row…. spurts of packet loss and high pings as soon as my route hits NCSoft network in Dallas.

NCSofts edge network is dropping major packets it seems.

Since the update today I am not able to purchase gems. Others in my guild and those in map chat have reported the same issue. This still ongoing as I just tried again since it was reported the crash bug was fixed I was hoping this was related, but as of posting this still can’t buy any gems.

Escort missions also disconnect you when you try and follow the unit to escort them. I have gotten dc now 2 times while doing escorting type of missions. Very annoying because you spend all that time following them and killing stuff only to crash at the end and get nothing.

Can’t buy Gems either, tried with both my paypal and CC, others in game reporting the same issue.
