So??? What do you expect max settings with a low-end I7 @ 2.00 ghz and integrated graphics? It’s you people who complain 24/7 to Anet crying to fix FPS problems when your playing on a garbage laptop or low-end trash.

What causes high FPS?

Also don’t forget they don’t tell resolutions and settings, which factors a lot into play. for me using i7 2600k/7950 @ 1920×1080 max settings. I usually get around 40-60 fps depends where I am most of the time I get 60 fps, and In Lions arch, The Grove I usually get 30-40 I’m not complaining already enough people doing it.

Please do something about the low FPS already !

Your complaining playing on a terrible laptop. Mobile components are trash, overheating, bulky laptop, huge power cord, etc. 10-25 sounds right in world PvP or big events.

Decent PC , TERRIBLE FPS

It’s people like you that complain about there “Decent PCs” It’s old trash don’t expect it to run max at 1080p, come on man. Your Fps is accurate. Same goes for people who are on Pre-builts/Gaming Laptops you get what you pay for the only people who should be complaining are people with Mid-range to High end PCs.

To all the people with low FPS issues, hopefully this is the thread for you. As of right now Arenanet is trying their best to get everyone’s system to have acceptable performance in-game, They’re working on it so give it some time. They have been busy with the launch, game bugs, glitches, bans, billing/currency exchange, population, etc. We’re not the only ones with problems. Now for my Rant, I’m honestly tired of people complaining about there computer’s low FPS when they are on low-end trash “Pre-builts” PCs or "Gaming laptop,‘’ Thinking they can max the game (They are trying to make the game playable, not so everyone can max it, duh). The game has fine optimization. Now I know some Settings and Areas are bugged Shaders/Shadows/Frame Limiter/Post-Processing, It’s being worked on. Be in mind this is NOT a GPU intensive game, It’s CPU Intensive/bound. Now for the fixes for people with mid/higher end systems. (Some of these you may already have done)

1. This is what fixed my Low FPS <Go to youtube.com and find a video> next right click the video and a menu will appear> next click “Settings”> Make sure “Enable Hardware Acceleration” is not check/disabled. Launch Guild Wars 2 post results on Thread.

2. Download Driver Fusion<Unistall Current Graphics Drivers>Reboot Computer into “Safe Mode”<Wipe All Current “Display” Drives Don’t Delete Anything else just the “Display” Portion.<Reboot Computer download latest drivers from AMD/Nvidia.

3. Update ALL Drivers, you’d be surprise how many people don’t.

4. If you just upgraded, make sure you graphics card is in the correct PCIE x16 Lane.

5. If you considering and PC Upgrade Avoid it for a while. Many people are telling people they should upgrade. They should have a “Patch” hopefully soon for you all.

Please report back of any Improvements. Hopefully I’ve benefited some of you looking at this thread.

Is the game being CPU Bound something they will optimize?

I completely understand having the stuttering problem when turning around, trying taking off v-sync and triple-buffering to gain higher fps I know you don’t like tearing, I haven’t got any tearing. They will probably be fixing shader/shadows/post-processing and the frame limiter, but I get higher fps when I turn my settings down. I think the frame-limiter needs a fixing too. can’t really say much except this to help you out maybe, go to youtube.com>find a video> right click> hit the option "Settings"> make sure hardware acceleration is not checked closed your browser> open Guild wars 2> you may have a huge difference, worked for me report back and tell me the results.
