Okay, i am disappointed with this.
However, I cannot fathom why people would still go about saying HoT was a half expansion. Does it have problems? Yes. Was it an expensive expansion? Maybe. But we all knew what this expansion was coming in. Alot of what HoT has been about is implementing new/final ideas and systems, not just pure mass of contents. Also did people feel so cheated when they received several dozens of free updates until the expansion? Sure gw2 was sold on that, but lets be realistic. Running an mmo without subsciption is itself a huge handicap. There cant be a half a thousand devs like wow delivering big. Anet does with what its got, and it did good to stand by and deliver all the free contents in the first few years. Not having subscriptions obviously takes its toll over the years as players leave, and im sure anet has to give in gradually more towards projects like expac2 and gemstores to pay the bills.

Please dont rage at the first sight of bad news, try to think about the shoes they might be in.

More Events like this please

In case people havent noticed, The one time events lasted so much longer than it should have, giving more chance for players to actually participate. I was one of those that missed the first time, but 3 hours later joined in on the event in the overflow. the event was supposed to start 8:00PM and end 11:00PM, but guess what? I still finished the event at 4:30AM.
So, it was more of a half day event, which i think is reasonable. I would be more understanding to those frustrated if the event had lasted only 3hours real time and never again, but the truth is, you had a pretty big window. Plus, this event had more its points to exclusivity and story progression than to everyone going for a shot at precursors.

How much longer for Consortium Chests/items?

Anet announced the consortium chests will be available until november 20th through the news feed that comes out before you hit play button. I highly doubt they will be able to be crafted after the anet puts it off on the gemstore (precedent: halloween). Im not sure how drops will work, but I presume skins will drop rarely and mini s won’t because they were clearly stated “exclusive to consortium chests”.

Where people spend their free time?

If you had the chance to talk to the consortium representative behind the desk inside the consortium gift shop, she implies in one of the conversations that they will bring something that will change how people spend in their free time. I was wondering, is this just another talk or possibly hint to a new creative content that isn’t just about combat, looting, and crafting?

I personally want to see creative, non-combat related contents into guild wars 2. Like a playhouse, for instance, where when people get tired and wanna rest up abit from all the smashing and bashing, can star in a play they made with emotes and gestures, or introducing musical instruments and mini games on how to play them and potentially earning money. I think it would make the game much more colorful. Just a thought.

I just purchased 10 consortium chests, and the gems have been deducted, but no chests anywhere. not in the black lion pick up, my inventory, or mail. Where have they gone?
