Guild Wars 2

Hello.
Before HOT came out information was released on the guild halls about the upgrades, and one of them called for 500 10 slot iron boxes, i think it had something to do with armorsmith or weaponsmith?, question is i crafted all 500 boxes orignally which was quite expensive, , our guild hall is level 47 at the moment, and i need to know what wwere these 500 10 slot iron boxes for, because i can not seem to see the upgrade avaible??

i am so disapointed with the ranger, that i went back to just playing normal WWW with my backline wells necro, because i would be wasting my time trying to do the beta testing

i agree with evilunderling, theres no way to fix it in time for launch.

Druid is weak, staff 1 and 2 lack damage, healing is decent, but having been a dugeoun and dragons player, and having played the ranger and the druid class, this specialization for the ranger does not work, if you wanted a druid you should created a whole new class like you did with the revenant, ranger were not meant to use solar power, you are trying to combine actually 3 classes into one, becuse druids are not monks, thry do have healing abilities , tied to nature, rangers are stuck, the only thing good for us is farming solo with pet, look at thiefs, they do alot of damge they have weak armor, but they can stay invisible forever, partys don’t want us, when we try to get in groups for dugeouns we are frown apawn by the the so called meta zerkers, right now, if your not a warrio, guardian, ele or mesmer or thief, they don’t want you and now revenant class will if give the guardian a run for his money, guardian might be joining the rangers and the necros as useless, not good, sorry I love my Ranger , i have 2 of them, there my main class, played a ranger thru out guild wars 1 since beta, and i got to say i am disapointed.

Druids will not be required for raids, they will use other class like revenant and guardians that can heal and fill a better dps role, we rangers are doomed from the beggining

kinda like what happend with guild wars 1, with the monks, but the problem is guild wars 2 is not set up for a dedicated healer, everyone can heal themselves, why bring a druid when i can bring a revenant who can do better dammge and decent healing, rangers are pretty much screwed, and this is the last beta, so theres really no way to fix this calss and tested before the game comes out in 3 weeks.

Druid needs alot of help, not enough damage from staff 1 and 2, all staff does is build up for celeastial form, was hoping for ranger looking more like a a druid like in dugeoun and dragons, druids will be useless for raids or anything else because other classes can do better.

as my main being a ranger and having 2 rangers on my account, druid will not help us, we will still be allienated , areanet did not go far enough with the druid spec, having played a druid in dugeouns and dragons in the past, druids were considered power spell casters of nature, with good dmg, healing and cc support, and shape shifting abilites too, we don’t see that here. we should be intune to nature and mother earth, how about some earth skills, wind water skills, etc.,

so basiclly your saying the average player who has exotic armor and maybe a coup,e of kitten trinkets(jewlery), will have a hard time in raids and possibly getting into raids, because they did not have the gold and expesinve crafting materials to craft asscended armor, thats just like saying you can not get in to DOA in guild wars1 unless you are wearing Obsidian armor set, because any other set of armor your wearing is going to get you kill quickly and alot, thats not fair, basiclly Raid will fall to the Few elite players who have these expensive armor and weapons, thats not fair, and you expect areanet to keep a high fan and player base, right.

My question is do you have to create a new toon for the beta if you want to try out the new raid this beta weekend or can you use a regular character, also howe does a group start the raid , is there a location you have to meet?

making it a requirement to have assendd gear/celestial would not be fair to all players because not everyone has kitten armor , it sextremly expensive and takes long to gather, and would not be fair that a small percentage of the gaming community can do raids where a larger portions can not enjoy raiding

I am aware of the tomes of knowledge, but yesterday i got 4 tomes of mentorship, and they read the same to me, whats the difference?

The event in my eyes is a waste of time, no rewards, and for those who are getting rewards, nothing worth while at exchange vendor, the event feels like a fill in to keep players occupied while the expansion comes out, lol.

i have done 2 events , got gold reward on second event , except one time, never got a drop or a chest, and telling ppl that it takes a week to get it in the mail is not a viable answer, when everyone else is getting stacks of blooms, this event is a joke, this expansion is starting to look like a joke.

Just wondering, i taught i saw some where, a small partial list of crafting materials we can start gathering for the upgrades to build the guild hall, taught i saw something like, mitril bars, bolts of silk, and some other stuff, by any change is there link or does anyone know, i would like to know so i can start farming some of this material know if possible. thank you.

OK since we have so many people, and a few love there Ranger while others don’t care for them, tell me :
Why did the developers of guild wars 1 or 2 create the ranger?
What is the purpose of this class. ?
why is there so much hate towards the class?
and on the same topic since you think rangers are useless, thieves are usless as well m in pve and in www zergs, lets get rid of them and the ranger, and while you at lets get rid of the necros, becasue there is no love for them in the game as well?

So now we got hard dps, warrior, gurdian ele, oh waite forgot about the mesemers, gert rid of them too, cause only thing they got is teleport, mass invisi, and portal, other than that no sustain, either, hehhe.

thee game needs to be balance, screw meta, meta should be done with and nerfed, ele ice bow needs to be nerfed, 100k dmg in 3 -5 seconds, is crazy, 25 stacks of anythiongn is crazy.

no , the reason people are just post all welcome, they don’t see a problem, because , they don’t want nerfs, they like the way the system is, broken, a balance game will have every class balanced, , no class should be op, people are always trying to get around the game mechanics and find a glitch to get over on the game, lol, if the game was more balanced you would have more people wanting to play the game , means more customer, which means more revenue for the game developers

I taught that areanet had mentioned we would be having a special event for guilds to do this week, have not seen anything yet?

The few times i tried to do dugeouns that was what they wanted and it was posted on the LFG , beserlers, experienced 80, lol path????

A easy way to do this is to make the grouping and parting up having to use all the classes, so we don’t see, classes left out, you go into dugeouns and they want certain class with certain type of armor(beserker) and you have to be an experience player on that particular dugeoun or whatever, so alot of players feel left out, to the point some players don’t want to be members of guilds, won’t go into pvp or www because they feel intimidated or afraid to get cursed out, the atmospher of the game has become so toxic, that if you don’t have beserker gear, and follow the metabattle builds they don’t even want to hear a whisper from, you, i would really hope that the developers would fix this with HOT.

I was looking forward to testing out the ranger druid /staff specialization this beta weekend , but it is not availible, as the ranger being my main toon, since guild wars 1, and may main and favorite toon in guild wars 2, i am hoping for some serious love for the ranger, as we get no love at the moment no one wants us in www, dugeouns, or pvp

I am a new mesmer been leveling via pve, currently level 74, about to hit 75, and unlock all my traits and hero points for all skills, i would like to see what would you reccomend for a build to roam and small group havoc in www, something that will help me not get one shotted , and burst down by pew pew ranger, thiefs or burst warriors, i have heard of, : power builds, condi builds, boonshare????, i plan on investing in 2 full sets of armor, one for zerging with the guild and 1 set just to roam and small group havoc, please teach a new Jedi (mesmer) on the way of the " FORCE ", xd

Thanks for the info, expandas, i joined ( GODS,) but i am alos a member of ( OK ), as i found out the Guild leader of OK is a friend of mine Wargod Biritis, i use to be ina guild in Dragon brand when guild wars 2 started , guild was Havok and he was one of the primary commanders, all good thanks for the info tho, and Dragonbrand is on its way back to its, prestine tier 1 , tier 2 status, i don’t worry about remors or old news, , btw i just came from SOR and was with them when they were Tier 1 was in a guild called TSYM, xd.

Thank you for posting about the patch problem, 2 of my toons are wacked, can’t change builds , hero points tabs messed up on 2 of my 6 toons, lol, also did not get my mini dragon after signing up for 2 step security for my account, heard a few other players had similar problems , hope the next patch fixes it, xd, take care.

Well, ( i am the Op), i usually play in www with my wells necro, GS/Staff Guardian, Staff ele or Hammer warrior, usually using the meta builds use for zerg, thieves not so much but mesmer definetly, does roaming or small group use a diferent type of build in www, or is there a specific class that has a better survivabilty against the mesmers?

I by no means am an expert in this subject but i would like to know from our experienced brothers and sisters here i the forum, how do you defend from being spiked down from no where, to seeing your toon on the ground with a thief about to spike you or a mesmer with 50 clones spiking you, in a zerg mesmer and thiefs are really a problem because the aoe tears them up, but if they catch you your dead , because you canot react fast enough to protect your self, i have a warrior, guardian, ele necro and a ranger that i play in www, just would like to have some advice in how to deal with the them

Well since areanet owns this game , they created it, they have access to everyones account , all they need is the character’s name on the video, they should be able to find the account who the toon belongs too, and disect that account to see if any changes have been made, then just simply delete the account, but they don’t care , all they care about is out money, and all of us suckers who paid 50, 100 dollars for the new upgraded, once they get your money, they can care less, they will tell you what ever you want to hear, but won’t do squat., i can not recall ever seeing a GM toon in the game, and alot of the staff at areanet have toons in the game

i was loged on earlier this morning no problems, when to log on this evening , new update,its; stuck or moving so kitten slow , might take a week to update lol, i am hoping areanet knows about the problem and are working on it????
