It worked. Many thanks JustTrogdor
I haven’t actually tried logging in when I linked my account years ago. But this is what it says on my account page:
Your Guild Wars accounts are linked
Congratulations! You have successfully linked your Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 accounts. In doing so, you now have access to the exciting rewards awaiting you inside the Hall of Monuments. The following Guild Wars 2 account information will now be used to log in to both Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2: MY EMAIL HERE
I’m not sure how it works because my old guild wars account had a different login ID to my guild wars 2 account. I’m currently downloading the basic guild wars client to see if I can log in.
Will keep this thread updated if I can log in.
Thanks for the help JustTrogdor!
Hi,
There is no official guild wars forum to post this so I’ve decided to ask this here instead. I used to play guild wars a long time ago, but recently, I’ve wanted to try log back into guild wars again.
However the problem is I cannot seem to remember my username or password or the answers to my secret questions. I do however know that my guild wars account is linked to my guild wars 2 account. I was wondering if I could log into the guild wars client using my guild wars 2 account login / password?
I tried logging into the NC soft account management with my guild wars 2 account login / password but it wouldn’t work.
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks
I have decided to go tailoring (since i’m a mesmer and it also allows me to craft bags) and jeweller for the reasons mentioned above . Thanks for the help guys (:
I don’t know if this is the right section to ask this but I’m just gonna go ahead and ask .
So far, I’ve been playing the game quite a bit but the one thing I haven’t touched is crafting. Some said it wasn’t worth it, the cost of the materials would outweigh the cost of buying the actual items itself and training would be pretty expensive too. On the other hand, some claims that it saves you money. I don’t know which to believe so I’m just going to go on here and ask you guys.
Should I start training my crafting? Why? What are some advantages to me training crafting? Seeing how I can only choose 2 craft, which 2 should i pick? (I was thinking maybe armoursmith or weaponsmith since I can make my own equipments but then the one that allows you to make your own bags is pretty good too and jeweller? yeah I read somewhere online that it can make you good money)
Thanks (:
Btw , regarding your move to England , you might have to buy an European version of the game to play it . Somehow they said theyre looking into it for those who frequently travelaround.
I do not understand the logic behind having us to pay a price for wanting to transfer between servers . You already put in place certain restrictions eg once a week and the loss of benefits from wvw so why the additional charges?
what about us in the oceanic / asian reason ? I wont deny that my internet speed isnt the fastest but it is fast enough to watch 1080p vids without buffering . In gw , I had no issues with servers since I didnt lag on an american server with a slower connection but the lagin gw2 (def. Server related cus its the delay between when I click the skill and when it activates)
and it ruins the whole pvp experience .
So when the supposedlyserver around this region comes out, I’d have to pay to switch over just because I want to play with lesser lag ?
