Played berzerker for a few rounds, but really, thats all i needed i think. Most of the other concerns have been said over and over.

For me, berserker is clunky and gimmicky.

One, you have to replace a trait line to get zerker. The zerker trait line mostly works when in zerker mode. So id say a good chunk of the time, youre giving up a really great trait line (like str, def, or disc) for a line that works – some of the time – but really, this has been echoed in this thread multiple times.

Two, its just clunky. Having it activate on maximum adr means that youre always concentrating on getting your adrenaline up as fast as possible so that you can actually take advantage and get your money back on one whole trait line that isnt working – yet – and when you get there, youre pushed back all the way to zero adr/rage and have to work it up again. You get a few sprinkles of buffs here and there but really, you just want to transform for the primal bursts – most of which are inferior or broken.

To be honest, id just rather get juggernaut. I get an arguably superior transformation, with a superior synergistic trait line that works 100% of the time.(str)

As for the rage skills? gimmicky and meh. Im willing to bet most warriors will give zerker a go and then just go back and stick to whatever works for best for them now.

What a disappointing turn of events. I wouldve rather they just fixed base warrior problems (fast hands, rifle, gs being an almost requirement, etc) rather than waste development time on a gimmick – now were stuck here. Looks like the only new things for the expansion is just PVE and a new arena for me.

So even with the rifle buffs, I think most of us can still say that rifle is an underwhelming weapon. While it has it ma shining moments, most can say that it is a weapon best swapped out with something else with more utility. I think that’s the key word, utility. Damage can only get you so far, so here’s some some ideas that might work. Feel free to put in your opinion. I’m also talking from a more pvp standpoint.

Burst:
Called shot
Reduce damage to evis damage (increase evis damage a tad in that regard)
Add in a 100 150 250 pushback with a .5 second stun.
Same cast time, cast able while moving.

This gives the burst a more utilitarian role. One of the most unfun things is being one shot, so making this higher and higher is always a tightrope. By giving it some utility and reducing damage to compensate it comes out even.

The pushback and stun gives it a nice interrupt and a getaway, while the damage makes it still relatively dangerous.

Rifle 1
This has more to do with the rifle trait. Swap it to grand master and have it
Increase damage to medium range ranger longbow damage range.

I think one of the rifles weakness is its ability to maintain pressure at range. This gives it that pressure while not upping its burst ability. Also, making it a trait point requires you to commit to maximize the rifles potential. Again, most warriors will take sprint over this, almost always – so increase utility and mix it’s tree position.
Also, decent for pve.

Rifle 2
Disabling shot
The warrior aims at a vital point to cause excruciating pain to his target
Pretty much same except adding a 1/2s daze.
This gives the rifle a great ranged interrupt increasing the utility of this weapons by a HUGE amount.

Rifle 3
Same

Rifle 4
Tracer round
The warrior loads in a special round that reveals enemy weaknesses
Increase vulnerability duration
Add in a reveal(anti stealth) debuff, 4-6 seconds
Increase cool down to 25-30 seconds
This gives a rifle warrior a great niche role to give mesmers, thieves and even rangers a bit of a rough time. For everyone else, it’s still a great debuff. It’s longer cool down will discourage simple spamming.

Rifle 5
Looks fine where it is. Maybe nerf the pushback to pre buff state and bake the increased knock back into the crack shot trait.

So those are some ideas from the top of my head.

Rifle 4 should have a cast time same as rifle 2
Rifle burst should be half the cast time it is now or usable while moving.
Juggernaut needs to be scrapped completely
5 sec swap probably needs to be the first minor trait you get in the line

Crack shot isn’t fully working. Volley is still 10 seconds.

Not a bug but, make the rifle burst usable while moving or like reduce the cast time please. The root and the long cast time is just insane.
