I’ve had a level 78 exotic necklace drop from a mob in one of the bottom 3 end zones, i cant say which. To date it is my only exotic drop, but hopefully that wont continue! Assuming magic find stacks, i normally run around in excess of 100% bonus should that have any bearing on what rarity can drop.

I know a lot of players aren’t fond of this subject, but i am and i’m having trouble finding what i need.

I heard a rumor that some weapons are known to fire magic projectiles and even full out beams of light. I know that some quest weapons do such things, and have previously used an array of said weapons. However i have not found any non quest related weapons and its driving me doolally trying to track some down.

The transmutation stones can take the looks of 1 weapon and implant it onto another, which for me is important as i have a rifle that looks like a musket that MUST go.

The question is, can the stone also take the firing design of 1 weapon and implant it onto another? or is it just the looks of the weapon itself that changes? If anybody can fill me in on some possible nice looking weapons and where they are known to drop/be sold, id be eternally great full.

“Experimental Laser Weapon Variant VL-992” i believe is a laser gun that i used in a quest, although i don’t remember where and no website I’ve found has a location either. Unlike many quests it did have a double click icon so might work if i ever do find it again.
