Agreed, I hate this. Give the option to turn off the quest tracker, achievement tracker and mini map PLEASE. It’s so immersion breaking its not even funny
Why is it that complaints are met with such hostility? People jump to conclusions about OP, ask what is his/her problem is, say he/she is entitled, yet they were polite as hell. Anonymity of the interwebz doesnt change the fact that being an elitist makes you a kitten. Personally I think the presents were immersion breaking and unfair, seeing as some kitten can open the thing and leave the mobs to run amok for innocent bystanders to get slaughtered by. Regardless, the hostility in this thread is disgusting.

True that, but some of them do move around a bit even outside of combat. It took a few times for me to get annoyed by it, but it does happen, albeit not that often. The main thing that annoyed me was this one specific npc in Snowden Drifts who literally walked away from me every 10 seconds, back and forth to the same points within like a 20 foot radius. There was no rhyme or reason for him to be doing this, other than making the world seem less stagnant, because he didn’t do anything relevant otherwise. It was almost pointless to make a thread about it, considering most people aren’t such sticklers about detail. I just can’t help but notice the little things xD
Is there anything that this guy is NOT involved in?! I know his voice better than my own pops lmao. Always a pleasure to hear him, but I can’t help but picture Spike Spiegel every time I hear him in a new game/anime. Anyone else a fan?
Or maybe this? my personal favorite, and definitely upbeat =)
One of these maybe?
There is a setting to change the length of time in which music plays. Go to your sound options, and slide the “Music Interval” bar all the way to the right for long intervals, and to the left for short. Also, it seems it has a little bit to do with entering new areas/entering combat when music will queue up.
This is a minor flaw, but can be really irritating. Some Karma merchants have a tendency to walk away from you as you are browsing their wares, and even if you try and keep up with them, the menu is closed automatically, which can be really annoying when you are trying to look at the stats of the gear they offer and they walk away every 10 seconds or so. This isn’t just a problem with Karma merchants either, it happens with any npc that isn’t set to stand in one place permanently. If someone is speaking with an npc, it should interrupt their pathing, causing them to stand in place until you are no longer browsing their items/speaking with them, or at least allow you to walk alongside them without the menu closing
-Only effects pve zones
-No mini map, only a compass
-No POI, vista, waypoint or any of the other markers on the world map. This includes your own characters marker.
-No access to waypoint travel
This would all be completely optional as you would select whether you wanted to play in regular or hardcore mode when you create your character. You could add mounts for all players and maybe a new personal story (one which ties in a reason why you cant use waypoints maybe, so people don’t feel too cheated :P) for those who take on hardcore mode. Players would also receive special titles/aesthetic gear for accomplishing certain goals (finding the vistas, waypoints, ect) since it is much more challenging and unpredictable without all of the map functions.
