I was having problems with tagging people in the general vicinity of the Moa Races the other day- it went right through them, but still hit NPCs (I could see the little notes floating around them). Then, while still in the same shard, still under the influence of the same book, I started tagging people around Lion’s Court, and managed to get 35-40 people dancing with me.
I started experimenting with a guildmate in other areas, and it seems that certain events may disable the ability to hit people with the dance invite?
So, I’m ambivalent on the mounts issue. Waypoints handle things more or less as I need them to be handled. However, there are a lot of times I’m in a hurry to jump from event to event, or to a dungeon I’ve just joined a party for. It wouldn’t be a giant necessity, but I think it would be neat for the game to incorporate some sort of favorite waypoint system, perhaps with the ability to add our comments to it. You know, “Lowland Burns Waypoint – Kral Event.”
Girlfriend and I just spanned Fields of Ruin looking for herbs because it’s the best place to get sage and dill. We found a total of one gathering node for herbs in the entire place. A couple weeks ago it had somewhere around twenty.
