having the same issue here, logitech G930 headset does it, always in big events like dragons or WvW, makes me want to just mute game sounds and play music or something, maybe that way the game wont crash at least

i have had this issue also, i resolved it by opening up the G930 software and turning on the Advanced equalizer, also make sure your surround sound switch on the headset is in the correct position.

i now have another issue though, when in large WvW battles, the sound will cut out all together and will go into a humming mode, its as if the headset is protecting itself from overload or something, it even caused the game to crash in the middle of an epic WvW battle, and of course you dont load back into WvW and i had to wait a good 20 minutes to get back in. Very frustrating. So hopefully there will be a fix for this. We may have to bite the bullet and buy new headsets.
