Dear Kaineng and NSP

I think this has taken a very horrible turn for the worst, what was intended as a sincere extension of friendship has mutated into an undercurrent of accusations and trolling comments.

I thank NSP and Kaineng for speaking your thoughts on your community, it is very nice to see a community bond that is loyal and strong, it will strengthen your resolve when facing down opponents on the field.

I do not believe that the voice of one or two individuals will speak on behalf of the server, that goes to every server, BP, Kaineng and NSP. Some of us here at BP would love to extend our invitation to develop new friendships and bonds, and some of us here at BP disagree with the idea of openly recruiting. Some at NSP would like the idea of moving to a new home and starting fresh, and some remain loyal to the cause, and that goes the same from Kaineng. Everyone is entitled to their own freedom and choice, it is up to their guild to consider the available option and decide for themselves.

I must address that similar to freedom of choice, is the freedom of prespective, there will be some that considers fighting your servers as an unequal match, but then, there will be some that will consider fighting your servers a welcome challenge to train and prepare ourselves in adapting to what your server can provide us with. We have noticed that NSP has now played more defensively on the field and we are very glad that you can provide us the opportunity to test our offensive strength, we have noticed Kaineng’s skill groups that can test our open field combat. Every server will have weaknesses, but we should refrain from chest thumping, and work to foster a diplomatic relationship between servers.

I truly respect the opinions provided here, but as it stands, the invitation is still open to ANY NSP or Kaineng guilds that wishes to entertain the idea of transferring over. I do not believe any community has the right to police or abstain their guilds from making the choice to transfer. Be it the reason, there should not be any attempt to force guilds into staying, that in itself, is stupid.

We do recognize however the ability to influence guilds to stay, and we understand that from both NSP and Kaineng that influencing your guilds with your patriotic views on your server might be a positive step to keeping them, however do note that it might be viewed as arrogance as well.

There is sincerely no point to go into history to find out why 2 NSP guilds had transferred over already from a close knitted community like NSP, nor is there any point to call each other bad servers, let us bury this.

We hope that this forum message is echoed through your servers, as a freedom, and not policed as an act of treason.

I am a small representative from Borlis Pass from the guild [EDGE] part of a Collaboration of Guilds (C.O.G) which host to around 14 guilds within our community, and I wish to congratulate your effort and determination in our match up.

We understand that the match up is alittle one sided with us having superior numbers at the current moment, but we sincerely wish to extend our warmest regards to both your servers as we completely understand how you feel, as we have been on the receiving end of this type of match up as well, we hope there is no hard feelings as it is the luck of the draw on how our servers face off each other in the resets.

As such, we are extending our invitation to any guild from NSP and Kaineng that wish to consider a transfer over to Borlis Pass as well, we are a growing and friendly community and we would love to entertain any questions you might have if you do entertain a consideration to move here to our community.

Our server is very much alive and active in the WvW scene, with many large guilds leading the charge and small to medium sized guilds working in unison on the battlefield to achieve great feats, you will find that every guild no matter how small or how large is appreciated and treasured within our community. We also have had a host of transferred guilds from over servers before and we are very accepting to any who made the hard decision to transfer over here.

We of Borlis Pass, treasure independence and freedom above all else, and every guild and their opinion is respected, we have a very open door policy and we practice unity and harmony above all else. We do debate and sometimes with heated passion over the forums but you will find that at the end of the day, there is great joy to see the progress from our debates and the teamwork we pour to each other. There is a degree of trust and understanding within our community that we all want to grow, develop and succeed.

In reply to the whines of Ehmry Bay thus far agaisnt the hunting parties of EDGE, allow us to summarize our reply in a few short notes, because you might have difficulty understanding what was stated.

1) we of EDGE are on the hunt for Ehmry flesh, in terms of server points, I do notice that even thou the map is green, you are still stuck in the same tier as us and are losing points overall

2) I stress on the part that we are HUNTING you, please understand that to hunt you and slaughter you is different from issuing a guild vs guild battle, which we would most humbly accept at any given day

3) Yes we took the superior tactical route of upgrading a camp, which you let us do

4) If you are incapable of making a judgement call NOT to charge into a fully upgraded camp, please do not whine about getting slaughtered, because you had a FULLY UPGRADED BAY with npcs of your own and CANNONS…did EDGE charge your lines? no we dont make tactical errors as such….

5) Oh yes we slaughtered up levels….I suppose we are to let up levels go? are you sure you want us to do that? alright fine…how about we wont hit you till you hit us…which in this case you and your Ehmries CHARGED us…so we defended ourselves and killed you or them….what other handicap would you like to suggest for us to kill you more?

6) Our intention is to gut and cut Ehmries down till we get your attention and formalize a challenge to take us on, equal in numbers and fight in skill, last night, we met a impressive Rekz elementalist whom we dueled 1 vs 1 at a time, and if he represents the caliber of players in Rekz, then once proven, you will have EDGE’s respect.

7) Yes yes, you wanna whine, you wanna complain, you wanna thrash talk, but we accept your challenge, for the next hunting session, we will be hunting you in the open field because you are complainning about a fully upgraded camp VS a fully upgraded Bay….I really fail the see the logic in shooting off your mouth if you could have just retreated into your Bay, let us come out and fight us on the open field….but no, you charged us multiple times….I will not be responsible for your slaughter if you want us to defend ourselves….

I am not looking to impress you Ehmry, I just want to gut you and kill you till you hate us enough to form ranks and without relying on your zergs to take us out.

as for if not Kyle is part of EDGE, I would let him determine that question himself.

I sincerely hope these rumours arent true, and that Ehmry Bay is not a bunch of zerg minded individuals, I stand agaisnt the Borlis perception of Ehmry, and I must prove that Ehmry is home to as skillful soilders and heroes as Borlis has.

Our guild EDGE, will be venturing into your fabled homeland in WvW from this week onwards, on the hunt for Ehmry flesh, We will be stalking your forces and will KILL any Ehmry we deem fit to stand against us, I wish to disprove the rumours that you need to outnumber us 2 to 1 to kill us, for if our numbers are around equal in a fight, you can never defeat a borlis….please prove this wrong, for I had already sent a hunting party into Ehmry so far, and the rumours appear true….4 of us fighting off 6 of Ehmries proved too difficult for you…

There will be plenty of time for you to prove your skill, and we will be watching….waiting…and hunting…bring your best skill groups when you see the tag EDGE, we will be waiting…of course we welcome the wipe out from your zerg if you deem if a must to kill us by outnumbering us by the droves….

And to be honest with you…we had 6 men….then we dropped to 5….and finally 4….please don’t misjudge our numbers, we don’t rely upon it to win battles on the field…

Were you one of the Ehmries we hunted and killed? I do apologise if our tactics seems harsh and difficult for you to figure out, I do hope your guildmates can explain the tactical value of “hiding” in a camp when we are 4 to 6 men at max

I do recall slaughtering a lot of Ehmries outside the camp thou….and killing ehmries without the assistance of our veteran npcs….pics or it didn’t happen, but thank god we got some pics thou….

If we were able to secure a camp…destroy and take a tower….and upgrade a camp till its fully graded…I guess you need to impress me further with you reaction time on the field, I guess its our fault for taking the tactical superior route of making the camp our Alamo….no no you are right…next time…we should hunt you on the open field….and I do accept your challenge….

The next hunting session EDGE does in Ehmry will be open field….without the camp if you wish to whine and handicap the match…even after I openly challenged Ehmry by stating…we will hunt down Ehmries, we want to face your skill group and we want to gut you like a fish… I guess my message didn’t get across….

We will do open field hunting the next round….either bring your zerg to wipe us…or stay the hell out of our way if you are not skilled enough, or fight us and earn our respect….

I really couldn’t bother quoting the 2 that has challenged EDGE soo openly, and it is unfair to quote a respond without first gutting you like a fish and sticking a pole down your hearts, if I fail to accomplish this task, I accept all the bragging rights that you can throw at us….

But if we hunt you and gut you, I expect some form of respect to be given in turn, let our skill do the talking, I will be on the field hunting you down, I hope you do the same…

EDGE, from what I’ve seen we don’t crush with numbers on our BL usually. It’s usually an even fight, with our guys coming out on top. Or like that rare occurrence where we were outnumbered by your guys and somehow managed to survive outside of your hills.

Ah I see, Thank you for expanding my understanding of the rules of conduct.

Rest assured that our guild has banned any future experimentation or testing of this glitch and have reported the issue.

Allow me to clear up the misunderstanding here,

As the leader and founder of EDGE, our guild does not condone cheating, I have investigated the incident and have sourced why this incident has occurred.

A few of our members has discovered a glitch where any profession, can glitch into a tower and keep through usage of a skill. This is not limited to the Mesmer glitch where it was thought to have been patched. Upon this discovery, several members tried the glitch themselves and found this glitch to be authentic to certain towers and keeps, the glitch has been reported to Anet and hopefully it has been patched.

Badbane himself is a captain in our guild, and we do apologise if he rub anybody the wrong way when he was asked for an explanation for it, I am sure he gave an explanation however if his attitude offended anybody especially you Drezdan. however due to the competitive nature of Borlis and also some of our members, do understand that being contacted by an enemy on the field does not encourage diplomacy.

To my limited understanding, if a glitch exist inside WvW and players find it, it is the responsibility of Anet to patch it and stop glitches and not the responsibility of players to not use it. However it is the responsibility of morally inclined players to report such errors, and EDGE gives its assurance that we have done so.

I was a tactician and strategist under the guild KREW, but left its service to follow Razzer Fel in a new undertaking, the creation of this guild named FIST.
